Team-Killing is still a major issue in Air RB. Every other game I play at any BR, there is usually 1 to 2 players that team-kill within the first 10 seconds of take-off at the start of the match.
This is extremely frustrating as it negatively effects the player being team-killed, but also negatively effects the entire team as that is one less player you have to win the battle.
I suggest adding a 30-second spawn protection for all players to combat the team-killing issue.
Team-killing is already disabled in Ground Battles and there are spawn protection timers implemented as well. This isn’t a foreign feature and I don’t see how it could negatively effect gameplay.
I believe this is the best way to combat/prevent team-killing without taking away the challenges and realism that friendly fire brings to Air RB.
Please let me know thoughts or have any points I may not have thought of.

I’ve only witnessed intentional teamkilling a single time in the few hundreds air rb games I’ve played… What br do you play?

I experience higher amounts in the 3.0 - 8.0 range.
It would help. Especially if expanded to also non-collision as well as no friendly fire damage.

That’s weird, I mostly play 7.7 and teamkills at takeoff are super rare… I would’ve expected more of them at bottom and top tiers, where most randoms are

Even if players don’t experience as much as I do, I don’t see any negative effects from the timer.
I only see it being a benefit for all.

For sure, especially since accidental kills also happen and I see some from time to time, no harm would be done by this feature. I’m just wondering why you see so much more tk than I do, perhaps regional difference

I also play most of my Air RB battles on early mornings on the weekends, so who knows.

It’s implented anyway, GJN only has to expand the timer, bubble, whatsoever.

That would be great in Ground RB air spawn aswell, it’s difficult since in low-mid tiers there is usually someone that takes a fighter to space climb and camp air spawn, and shoot people a few seconds after spawning, and in Toptier, where SPAAs lock someone immedietly after spawning and making them have to go on the defensive 2 seconds after spawning

Good point, I agree it would have a positive impact for Ground RB as well.
