“Because Realism” has eternally been the worst argument for anything in this game, if you want realism GO PLAY SIM, it exists for a reason, realistic has a 3rd person view, how is that realistic, historical matchmaker was removed because its makes games boring, fighting the same 3 tanks over and over again, we’ve never had historical BRs because they would be miserable, imagine fighting a maus in a T-34-85
The pursuit of “realism” has never gotten this game anywhere why should we change a completely trivial feature that 99% of people wouldnt want for the sake of “realism”?
Because it has been like that since game was released. I am member even before ground forces were a thing. Suggestions are accepted only from suggestion part of the forum. I really can’t remember seen any dev member ever reply outside their part of the forums.
You still don’t get it. But thats OK, you will get it eventually. Any suggestion outside proper suggestion thread is absolutely irrelevant to devs. Its like it doesn’t exist. But sure you can keep hope they will see it.
Be honest, you’re trying to lobby for a personal preference here. The more you argue the worse this suggestion seems.
This is a bit cute, True Tankers, Ground realistic is closer to Arcade when you consider the actual differences, it slows the tanks down a bit and removes the visual aids on the HUD.
Ground Sim, is the closest thing war thunder offers to the actual experience of being a tank commander.
You have the option to enable the gunner’s site in any game mode, but you have previously refused this as you don’t want to be disadvantaged.
You refuse to play sim as you claim to want more realism but really you only want a tiny little itty bitty specific bit of realism.
This is worse than the last time someone brought this suggestion up for GRB, claiming it would resolve the issue of players being able to accurately pinpoint weak spots on tanks (improve armour meta).
still there is no sensible answer to why it wouldnt be a good idea to add it to ground rb, all you can say is to go play sim battles, i could say the same go play arcade battles … it wouldnt benefit you, you like shoting rounds out of the centre of your screen cause you used to it, and you like it, and youre afraid of change, its realistic, it should be added to the game, but yet some of you dont like it who knows why, like seriously why you wouldnt like the idea … because it wouldnt benefit you, if only 100% of players would come vote for it we could see a proper discussion, only noobs would hate that idea …
Putting it aside for realistic, i would like to see some parallax sights in SGB, that would be quite cool and would also make it a bit easier in my opinion
