I said it and ill say it again, i played with the leopard 2, with the t72 on 10.7 ans with the abrams, it is sad that even the 9.3 t72 is better than the abrams wich has a high br. There is no russian bias or things like that, that is true, but fr, this abrams need a buff.

M774 at 10.7???! Irl this abrams is supposed to use m900 or atleast m833 but they just give u m774
372mm pen at 10.7 with inconsistent post pen damage
No armour at any point, even a t72 doesnt have any problem to pen u at long range
U have good speed, the best of the br for a mbt, but because of the maps in war thunder and the fact of that u will find enemies for sure while u try to flank then u wont reach more than 50-40km/h in the match
Every shot that hit u and pen u will destroy both horizontal and vertical aim, also maybe the cannon breach and the engine wich doesnt make sense
Even at a downtier a leopard 1a5 doesnt have any trouble against the abrams

Idk this is just my point of view now that i played another nation in 10.7, now that i have more refferences i can say for sure i would even preffer to play a t55m at 10.7 than the abrams, the problem could be solved if they gave the abrams its real armour and real ammo, i can understand real armour will never be added to the game because it is classified, but atleast they could give it m833 apfsds to atleast have better penetration and post damage.
It was 10.3, as everything got decompressed it got moved 0.3 up with rest. Its still awesome tank and if you know how to play it and where to shoot,you dont even need M900, cause M900 would put it at 11.0
This problem is just like when bradley and bmp2M were at the same br lol, the bmp with a rapid fire 30mm gun with great post pen damage, 4 atgm’s that u can shot while u move and better armour was at the same br as bradley wich only had 2 atgms that u cant shoot while u move, a 25mm and a bad modeled armour (u can pen bradley with a 7mm in some spaces)
10.7 sucks because of compression and the 11.7 black hole (especially the BMPToxic), but the 10.7 Abrams is actually one of the stronger MBTs for the BR
Bro, i shot a t80 to the lfp 3 times and i got 2 impacts, then one crit (just killed the driver) and even like that i didnt kill it, then he shot me to the cannon breach and the abrams exploded like a nuclear bomb
Happens on any tank tbh. The amount of times i shot Leo to side only for fuel tank to eat entire round, or the spall liner eating the round when hitting turret. Its not unique to russian tanks,but people only complain about those and the “russian bias”
Yep, as i said russian bias its not a thing it is more about volumetric problem that happen with all the tanks, the problem is that the m774 is just inconsistent for 10.7, m900 would be op, but m833 would be balanced
Yep, as this post is old, i decided to play another nations, and guess what, the only tank that made me have problems is the 10.7 abrams, i eat them even with a bmp2 bro how can u explain a bmp2 destroying an abrams frontally just because of the turret ring?
At 10.7 u hace the leopard 2a4 wich i would say is the better 10.7 mbt,the t80,B wich is a beast the challenger mk3 with such a great armour and a good gun,the ariete with a great gun and great mobility but what makes the abrams special?? The speed? As i said, the problem is that 90% of the maps in war thunder are really short and while u try to get a good position u will 99% get shot by someone sniping
From my experiences on playing M1 Abrams at 10.7 it’s the turret basket which kills the fun of playing it I’d rather play MBT-70 for fun instead, but tbh M1 Abrams should get M833 it would make it a bit on pair with other 10.7 MBTs.
Yep, the principal problem is the ammo, idk why they dont add m833 lol, irl it had even m900, even the m60tts used the m900 but they make u play with m774 everytime
