Let’s keep it short. These are the subtrees I think every major tree should possibly get one day (not necessarily all of them, but these are the options I personally have in mind):
USA: 1. South Korea (if for some reason Gaijin’s current plan for the Koreas wouldn’t be fulfilled); 2. Saudi Arabia; 3. Turkey.
USA - neither, the tree is big and popular with a ton of vehicles to come;
Germany - Switzerland is more than enough;
USSR - Ukraine and other ex-Soviet Republics;
GB - Commonwealth stuff (although I’d like to see India implemented in some other way, maybe as Chinese subtree or in the TT with some other nation;
Japan - idk, Thailand is ok, maybe some other nation of the region;
China - Pakistan, Bangladesh, maybe India as mentioned above;
Italy - Romania and Hungary already, unfortunately with not that many ingenious designs yet, idk about Bulgaria, Spain would be also nice, but maybe a bit excessive already;
France - already has Belgium and Netherlands, with the same problem as Italy though, not much domestic stuff yet;
Sweden - vikings and finns;
Israel - the idea of Greece is fine for me.
Israel should have obtained Chile due to the large number of vehicles modified by Israel for Chile or purchased directly from it, in addition to the close political and military cooperation they have had for more than 50 years.
Originally, I wanted to see the Korean Peninsula tree being a subtree of China, since I remember (correct me if I’m wrong) that there was an official post saying that there’ll be no major tree after Israel. But just for me, if we cannot get both the North and South as subtree of China and if the other option would be to separate them, I’d still rather prefer keeping them as an independent, together one.
What? Why? They have no military bonds whatsoever. They are rivals and therefore do not share technology. Israel (or Russia, but Russia has much else anyway) is way more logical, as they are among the main cooperators and technological suppliers of the Indian military.
USA doesnt need a subtree. their defence industry is enough
less extreme but same goes to germany
USSR probably should just hold all the USSR for simplicity however this is too nightmarishly political to ever be feasable
Turn the british tree into the Commonwealth of Nations tree and cease the arguments its getting stupid
Japan and the upcoming korea tree should have asian nations divided between them
China should juse be China and the free nation of Taiwan. (china should have been a USSR subtree to avoid the copypaste hell that tree is
Italy should get Romania, Bulgaria and Austria-Hungary
France gets BeNeLux and its colonies
Sweden holds scandinavian nations
Israel sure give them greece and cyprus i think its an intresting mixture, do think middle eastern vehicles should go there too (including arabia and persia) think chile and maybe argentina would work there too
All countries should get their (and subtrees) defence industries including a version of exported vehicles to save on potential arguments because X nation designed Y vehicle for Z country but because their military didnt personally use it they get screwed over
Chile should be in South America’s future tech tree.
Singapore isn’t needed as it only offers ~4 unique vehicles, and the copy-paste is already in USA and others.
Israel already has Ayit so it doesn’t need A-4SU.
Israel already has Leopard 2A6 from Greece, and Merkavas, so it doesn’t need Leopard 2SG.
Agreed, the main thing Greece brings is variety, something Israel is heavily lacking in (coming from someone who has ground out all 3 trees), I’d like the extra light tanks, Leopard 2 and French jets that greece has to offer, since it spices up the grind like you said, and gives us more options without the limitations of Israeli tech (eg. No HOBS missile until Python 4, mediocre DASS on everything except Sufa, good flight models, etc).
And while I think fixing Israeli tanks should be the main priority, Greece offers a relatively unclaimed and viable subtree option
I’d rather they do some former Yugoslavia tree. Serbia, Croatia, and neighbouring countries actually put effort into modifying platforms (such as the T-72) into actual unique variants.
Are we back in 2019? Also, your ignorance is showing. China has the most potential out of any tree for future additions. It is a major nation, and there are plenty of domestic vehicles for them on the way.
I mean it only depends on Gaijin, NATO countries have Soviet/Russian vehicles both irl and in the game, although it’s not like I want such copypaste in SU TT anyway nor it’s necessary to add into the game.
I’d argue the US, Germany, and Russia/USSR don’t need sub-trees at all. They are the most popular nations, get the most content, and still have many vehicles that aren’t added yet.
The “minor” nations are the only ones who need sub-trees.
