Not played Sim too much since the update (Not interested in playing red anymore, and Blue is always overpopulated), but the couple games I did play, basically whole enemy team was just Su-34’s, deck hugging with their radars turned off spamming 27ET’s. Was kinda hellish to deal with lmao.
yes, because they cant bring any worth while ground ordinance to win matches, per the usual. What I was saying though is unlike the f15E the su34 cant bring full loadouts of both at the same time since they occupy the same pylons.
Just identify your target and use aim9ms, they are easy enough to deal with. Use your altitude advantage to dive down on them, and the 27et is easy enough to flare off from the front if they nose up to engage you.

The brimstone is on the best platform in the game a 4.5 gen fighter with Aim 120s and the first gen of the brimstone is literally laser guided anyway plus it carries 18 so I dont see the issue

KH-38MT doesnt exist Russia only operates the KH-38ML Laser guided and IOG
You can guide a single Brimstone one at a time as soon as you turn the laser on all the missiles guide on the laser they ignore the IOG.
Su-34 flies high locks 6 targets gets 5 kills and rtbs to do it again. The Typhoon is not the same.

KH-38 has a range IRL of 70km thats stand off weapon range. Yes Russian helicopters KA-52 have been seen using KH-69 so yes but I think you were comparing LMUR or Vikhrs.
Su-34 is a strike aircraft it still has a great radar and R-77 and a very good payload all it’s missing is its ECM suite.
R-27EA yes and it wasnt chosen. R-77 was deemed superior either way the aircraft that needs it the Su-33 cannot use it.

T90M is best armour but still lower glacies and huge turret ring with a slow reload and no reverse
T80BVM slow reload too and easy to kill breach
Both use 3bm60 the most underperforming sabot at top tier (because gaijin use some website to calculate it and spall is based on pen not mass)
Pantsir has good range but beyond 10km you just touch the keyboard to dodge it at close range going fast is enough to dodge the missile the radar fails to lock or see things so much and the missile goes for any ordinance dropped and TWS is random so switching back with other things in the sky friendly or not is hard
The R77 wiggles everywhere has no range R73 can be one flared rear aspect and wiggles even more the R27ER is easily beaten by Aim 120 if you just defend and russian radars are slow not flexible and cant see anything russia helis wont get any FnF missiles like several other nations either oh and MiG 29 and Su27 flight models are terrible irl the MiG 29 beat F16s in post GDR tests and the Su27 should be able to beat anything except maybe typhoons
So really there is no reason to play russia anymore

Gaijin nerfed the MiG 29s flight model and gave it an R27ER and no R73 to ‘balance’ the R27ER (which it could carry only two of lol and its only advantage was speed) but then once the R27ER was no longer even the much of an advantage the MiG 29 never got its R73 or flight buff… the best part is the MiG 29 9-13 does use R27ERs lol

So there’s no real argument against Tu22 and don’t talk about the B1 because that is different it’s far bigger and slower. The Tu22 is literally used for ground striking (look it up in Ukraine)
