About the Grom-1 being removed for the time being

I’m here just honestly wondering the reason for them removing the Grom-1 for the time being. I here people saying it was OP since it could reach a base from the airfield. But if it was on the main branch the base would easily already be taken by something else and not your Grom-1. As for Sim I could see the issue there but at the same time they could just put a block on it for Sim. For Ground RB it would be rather handy having the Grom-1 to provide good ground support. Why remove the one weapon for the plane that was shown in the trailer that added a lot of the hype for the plane to just then remove the weapon?

That’s a dumb statement to block a weapon from a game mode if that is so block agm 65 mavricks from F15E from Air RB and give it the better engines

Did you see what they did to Brimstone…The Su-34 is hardly suffering

The whole Grom-1 removal debate is bizarre to me.

Every argument I see for it being added basically goes along the lines of ‘Its often useless anyway so what’s the problem’, which really makes me wonder, if it truly is often useless, why want it at all? why be sad it’s not coming? why would you ever practically use this thing over the KH38’s?.

All the missile does is present balance / economic concerns, particularly in sim. Imagine a Su-34 just draining the other team’s tickets from within spitting distance of his own airfield. You suggest not allowing the missile in Sim, but i don’t think there is any precedent for Gaijin banning a weapon from a mode before. Is it even possible? Why should we even add something that presents a big enough concern to be worth banning?. If they couldn’t ban Vikhrs from Heli PVP I have no faith they’d do it here.

Yes it would be useful in longer maps like early simulator matches where everyone is fighting each other and the Grom-1 would add something to the Su-34, now with the removal is one unique weapon to add.

And the addition of the Su-34 would only bring problems during a short time period, and as a End of The Line vehicle, not everyone will have access to it anyways in a long time. How is possible a single vehicle bring problems to the economy? Would actually help people.

Not many people using a broken thing won’t make the broken thing any less broken.

I meant an economic problem from Gaijin’s perspective. If Su-34’s can just safely spam missiles from their own airfield in sim, that’s very low risk high reward gameplay.

I can’t say much but agree. Before the BR changes, 11.0 Japanese MBTs were in a downtier black hole.

No one is bombing bases in 13.7 br lol wake up people. Also, I don’t know players who in their right mind would use AGM instead of r27/r77 for air rb, and Grom instead of kh38 in ground rb. So dont panic, that groms removed from su34, that’s good, I didn’t want to meet half of the team in my air rb team, who only throwing groms at base.

Whining and moaning/Coping and Seething posts for the US mains, that’s why.

Which is ironic considering this argument being heard from the players and not suggested “”“victim”“” - Gaijin. (unless it “They COULD do something about”, but “could” is not “would”)

Sim rewards are already horrible if you play it for PvP in competetive lobbies. Making zombing any easier will just drive them further down.

What they made them laser guided and not their irl guidance that would one cause a lot of teamkilling and headaches?

It’s not the fact that a lot of people are whining about it being removed. It’s the fact that one it was in the trailer which gave a lot of hype for the Su-34 and the groms. Second one of the more OP things in the top tier Air RB game right now is Aim-120s. People know they’re the most broken Fox-3 in the game and rarely ever can be notched.

Yes and how useful is a subsonic laser guided missile on a platform such as a Tornado. You will be blasted out of the sky.
