A6M zeros are overtiered honestly (poll)

tbh you can just call it the best fighter and not just the best energy fighter

nope
its cuz nobody knows how to face them

slightly better even

not to say that the p51c10 isnt also extremly op where it is

yes but my point is early 1941 prop vs 1944-45 prop

when it was build does not matter
performance does (or at least it should)

except for fighters the performance of early war props is not directly boosted by advancements in technology from 1945

yes, naturally aircraft improved over time, but date of introduction is irrelevant

Firecrest and Avia S-199 (Sakeen) are both from 1947, Seafire FR 47 is from 1948.

Should the A6M come down? Yeah, in fact, we can drop it to even an historically accurate BR of 3.0 for the base model A6M if the compression issues are modeled.

A6M5 hei and it’s peers could see maybe 4.3- 4.7 max as final BR placement.

assuming youd mean 3.3 as that same br as hellcat which is its direct counter part

I mean hellcat kind of already dunks pretty much reliably, another weakpoint to an A6M wouldn’t help a lot.

But yeah maybe if 3.0 is too low it can see 3.3.

well zero counters wildcat and wild cat is 3.0 and hell cat is 3.3 its iffy they really need to rework prop brs

i just dont want it facing 2.0s

we don’t talk about that wildcat, only 2.3 one exists
how the fuck did it reach 3.0 LET ALONE KEEP IT, it hasn’t moved since I started to play.
It is a complete anomaly, you tellin me USA players become cracked the moment they touch a F4F-4.

Also F6F deserves to be taken out of the folder imo, practically locked behind a stinker.

they rlly need to rework all brs

but hey
at least we have the 109f1 facing 1.7s sometimes for some reason
lol

i think its cause gaijin puts heavy emphasis on guns

imo its fine to lock stuff behind bad planes
if there is a reason for the folder its 100% ok
(but it should be logical and not something like with the cannonstang and p51d which are in the same folder for some reason if im not wrong)

Definitely overtier, but there still enough P-51 think they can outturned a Zero so this is why it so high

wow
best p51 player for sure

smart fella vs fart smella

crazy to think that the stats of this dude have the same value as someone who spend +1000 battles on the same P-51.

If I had a nickel every time I can remember a P-51 player lost and immediately threw harsh insults in chat, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t much, but it’s weird it happened twice.

I once shot down a P-51C (american) in the Bf 109 E-4. Immediately got called a nazi lmao

Oh look at that, staff got another person they can chatban lol XD

The Zeroes are a prime example why basing aircraft based on player stats is a completely stupid idea. To be blunt they’re some of the worst aircraft in game and by far the easiest to avoid/kill. Almost every aircraft they face can outrun them.

Yet people are stupid and they must turn.

I see that the problem with aircraft is that developers have gone overboard with making the models unrealistic. We have aircraft weapons that are more accurate than in reality, weapons that do more damage than in reality, control surfaces on certain aircraft that don’t lock up at speed, other aircraft with terrible flight models (see the Fw-190), and the fact that wing breakage due to G-forces is made almost impossible. Many of the brigands that look absurd are due to these flaws, which make aircraft that turn well the most effective, leaving fast but less maneuverable aircraft as mediocre.
