ehm? no?
the only thing that would be cool about, is the F14 with R27s and I-HAWK wich can be also just a premium

u have no idea what you talking about
iran isn’t as bad as most people would assume, but it is far far from being the best new nation suggestion
It’s an Israil-style tree. We still have plenty of reserve trees that could work.
I can think of 5 or so off the top of my head
mention 1
the tech that is in the forum is far more complete and mixed and unique than half nations we have in game now
Yugoslavia, Poland, Czechoslovakia, (not really a nation but) Benelux, Canada.
Most of those nations have nothing unique… pure copy paste (I already check those techs in the forum)
And adding a whole nation only for 1 or 2 vehicles is not worthy (Israel for example…)
ok nerd, what would be unique about it and not C&P
If that’s the case Iran is C&P too.
you’re not telling me iran has less copy paste than those nations.
if anything iran stuff is either copy paste or it looks like literal toys
bruh
It’s very curious, because talking about unique things, people always forget about some nations.
Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg is no different from a combined TT between Argentina, Brazil and Chile (ABC).
Said like this, ABC would have many more unique things than many of the nations proposed here.
Iran is good, but I’m sorry, it is absolutely not better than the ones StormRyder mentioned.
Hell, some that haven’t been mentioned are also better.
It is though, the Benelux nations are much closer to each other than those south american nations, and they were one united entity (not saying country because they weren’t all independent for a long time) for centuries before forming the Benelux union
The argument is still invalid for current Gaijin parameters.
Anyway, you seem to forget that the South American nations were a single nation and political unit for more than three centuries. For the last 5 centuries (and in some cases more) we have had the same cultural values, until today.
I also repeat, it seems irrelevant to me to go so far back in time to look for a common denominator.
If Benelux can be an alternative, as a multi-nation unit, then ABC could have its own combined TT.
The other option is with the Swedish/Nordic TT format. A Benelux nation would be the main representative of the TT and the rest of the countries as subtrees. In this case, the same applies to ABC, with one nation being the main representative and the rest going as subtrees.
How about we don’t rope in times that are irrelevant for the game’s timeframe.
Totally agree.
For my take on the matter, taking relevant history for the game in mind (so let’s roughly say 1900+) I find that Benelux is a viable choice. The Benelux nations are all of western identity, have a shared minor union and are generally very close peoples.
For the ABC concept you provide I can’t say as much, as I am not as familiar with the region, but from my understanding this is much less the case for the nations in question.
Correct me if I’m from, but from what I understand Argentina and Chile are (or have been) hostile to one another. I am not sure on Brazil in that equation, but these nations don’t strike me as some that would be as “unified” as Benelux is.
I wouldn’t mind some sort of combination between Latin American nations if it means representing them on a wider scale in game, but putting those wishes aside I hardly see how it can compare as a shared tree with Benelux in the “sense” way of looking at things.
Uniqueness wise both would have quite a bit going for them, don’t get me wrong, but it just doesn’t strike me as workable.
Maybe I missed something, but doesn’t this apply to South America?
Maybe that’s why he can’t see the same thing as me.
Argentina and Chile had a conflict, for a short period of time, by two military and mediocre governments, influenced by foreign powers, which led us to that. It is not representative of the history of both nations. No person who lives in Argentina or Chile is willing to take arms against his brothers. Just to know, Argentina and Chile form the Southern Cross Binational Peace Force, having a Joint Chiefs of Staff, combining the army, navy and air force of both nations as a single UN deployment force.
Argentina and Brazil carry out joint military exercises every year. There is a lot of military cooperation and joint work between both nations (recently it was the Arandú Exercise). From the economic point of view (which is the most relevant thing about the Benelux union) there is Mercosur, where the economies of Brazil and Argentina are fully integrated.
In Latin America we did not have internal problems like European countries had throughout the 20th century, so searching in that direction seems totally useless.
The situation of Belgium and Holland during the Second World War has no precedent here. In South America, “conflict hypotheses” only serve to justify certain military spending, and these hypotheses lately are more oriented toward the countries’ fight against organized crime.
Furthermore, this “cultural union” does not seem to have any weight in the elaboration of the TTs in War Thunder. Also, the Brazilian market seems much more relevant than the Belgian one, in the greedy eyes of the snails. And ultimately, you should also consider the unique vehicles that each TT provides since that is very important.
