Technically you could call the tech tree Visegrat TT…even though Italy got Hungary…but personally i dont mind…Hungary doesn’t have that many interesting vehicles. Poland and Czechoslovakia made a lots of original desings and later in cold war we did a many modifications to soviet tech we got. BMP hull with differet autocannon (30mm) with spike missiles, Czech T-72M4, SPAAs and there are some interesting aircraft also like light strike sub sonic jet L-159 ALCA
And for sure, Baltic states could be premiums. Even though i don’t think they have any MBTs, i think their army is mostly around armed light vehicles/IFV. But still makes some nice premiums.
Yugoslavian TT or subtree would be interesting. You could fit most if not all Balkan States in there. Not sure if there would be enough original/interesting vehicles though.
Same would be for czechoslovakian rank 1-2 would be originals. Rank 3-4 start to get copy and paste with some planes having a modification like we “modified” british Mosquitoes and put German MG 151 and Mg 131 into them. For jets starting we had CS-92 and S-92 which were 1 seat and 2 seat Me-262. Then there are of course Migs from Russian (that we were licensed to build in our country) but then we made our own light striker aircraft like L-39s and L-159 ALCA.
For gorund it would be similar but later on the soviet stuff we got, i would say we modified heavily.
If you want i can send you links fot a Czechoslovakian TT (ground, air, helis) that was made by one guy. He is also here on forums. He is still adding new vehicles into them, updating them.
Benelux most uncreative? Not for the Naval and early ww2 content where every single vehicle could be unique and still have options left over that are too much to add. Late war and cold war, sure pretty much copy paste. Worth noting that Germany’s F-104G 4x AIM-9P load out is actually exclusive to the Dutch addding some uniqueness.
NL was also one of the few operators of the F-16A block 1, which could be unique due to only 4x AIM-9P’s and some other nerfs that could place it at a lower br. The CF-100 for Belgium also isn’t in game yet. I also believe Belgium had some unique Mirage V’s variants after an extension of life program.
For me enough there to add, even if they don’t do cold war. Kinda of the inverse of what they did with Israel, up to tier 5 only instead of from tier 5 onwards but i’m not expecting it.
I can’t really speak for naval, but uniqueness in ground doesn’t end in 1940, rank 4, 5, 6 and 7 are all almost entirely unique while having at least 9 vehicles per rank
For air too i thought it was all copy paste but it’s not really the case; the Mirages are Belgian variants (i believe they used AIM-9s) and there is the MirSIP Mirage with added canards for improved maneuverability, a Belgian F-16 was tested with Magic 2s and AS-30Ls so you can add that as well. The Dutch NF-5A has some special flaps that improved instantaneous turning speed by 50% and there was also one they tested with misc. cluster bombs, flare dispensers and other stuff.
They won’t make it stop at rank 5 because that’s where the ground stuff is best
