Why are these two similarly performing planes at 10.3 and 10.7 respectively? Talking about ARB. The missiles are different, but they are worth the BR increase? Feels like these two were forgotten about when the BR separation happened, since in ground battles their payload difference actuall matters.
Maybe i am missing something?

Neither use the C, only the Crusader (F8E) has access to the AIM-9C. The A-7D has AIM-9 E/J and A-7E has the AIM-9 D/G

The only thing I can think is the E has a FLIR pod where as the D doesnt
The A-7D used to club jets below it a few years back when it was at 9.7 with its decent flare/chaff count, M61 20mm Vulcan and also having AIM-9Js which most jets didn’t have access to their own countermeasures.
The A-7E Corsair II was originally brought down to BR 10.3 but then less than a few months later it went back .3 higher with the planned BR change around July of 2024 for the BR decompression of top-tier jets up to 13.0+ while a few Korean Era jets like the MiG-15 and F-86 Sabre went down.
The differences in the A-7D/E are marginal at best and specifically for Air RB, they 100% need a BR decrease back down to at least 10.0-10.3 BR minimum. (there shouldn’t be any compression issues considering there are now plenty of countermeasure-equipped aircraft at 9.7-10.0).
They are subsonic aircraft and unlike the A-10/Su-25/Q-5/AMX despite being overall faster in top speed and maybe carrying more overall bombs on pylons, they are absolutely TERRIBLE at maneuvering, dogfighting or air-to-air defence in general against supersonics for that matter since not only bleed so much damn speed in turns but they both also carry rear-aspect missiles (except for the event A-7K with AIM-9Ls and all A-7s only carry 2 Sidewinders). The AN/ALR-45 LANA pod and Walleyes are nothing special for Air Realistic other than getting a few AI ground kills which contributes nothing to the team for the usual regular furball meta.
The A-7E should either get:
-Its Air Realistic BR be decreased to be the same as the A-7D
-Get historical AIM-9Ls at its current BR
-or 2 x more sidewinders for its pylons:

Attacker air spawn… zoom in and destroy a base, whilst all the Korean stuff is still just taking off. Hunt em down with 9J’s they can’t flare & win every head on with the gunpods. Thing was cracked lol.

It could even get 4x AIM-95 & HMS too.
It’s also completely missing its A2G radar, and the LANA is erroneously modeled as a Targeting pod not a navigation pod (should only be able to be slewed to the Radar’s LOS, or Bore-sighted / Snowplow for landing)
