Every A-4’s wings break too easily from just pulling Gs.
doesnt seem to be the case for me, even fully laden i dont wing rip
(unless you are diving and pulling with a full bombload lol)
Ayit had a wing rip issue that was mostly fixed. Just make sure to take boosters off.
As for any other A-4? I’m usually running 3 gunpods and don’t go that fast anyway.
legit skill issue, ive only done it like 2-5 times ever you shouldn’t wing rip from normal flight unless you pull up too hard from a high speed dive but you shouldn’t be doing that anyways unless your toss bombing for some reason
Sorry boys, just got mad after I had a wing rip for the second time this week. My own fault. @pooqich @BOMBAY9997042-live @TheDudesRug The Ayit is my personal best so it got to me after 3x 65As gave me hits then I snapped my wing and someone decided to shoot out my control surfaces that would have allowed me to survive the match.
I only use Ayit in ARB (ground whole air tree with it), so my wing rip experiences are from there. Used to turn too hard and your wing would come right off. Now you can safely do what you need to do to get that AIM-9D off. One day I’ll bother with the Israeli ground tree and its magach spam.
I’ve only ever used it in GRB where I can basically perfectly control if I die or not. I know it’s good in air but I am nor interested in air nor do I want to get ambushed. I was just pulling up too hard after an unsuccessful attack still with the AGM-62s on my wings so of course it broke right off. My eyes just glaze over sometimes and the flashing G overload becomes meaningless to me because, unfortunately, I’ve grown to almost instinctively block it out. Which is a no no in the A-4s (And G.91s.) because your wing will give out.
It isn’t. The fix gives you more time to react, that’s it. It still can rip it’s wing of with ease. The dudes with bombs or gunpods never get there, because of decreased turnrate and speed. But with missiles only and flying it to the edge, you have to be very mindful.
Wouldn’t be me, son :p 2xAIM-9D, 2x Shafir, 1 lovely gunpod in the middle. I let the AIM-9D bridge the gap between my slow-ass Ayit and jets like the F-104.
