Because he was going faster than you and at a higher altitude than you.
And he wasn’t fully loaded
I suggest you switch to realistic btw

That was at the start of the chase, he did not and could not have maintained that speed an run me down like that…He was fully loaded…Where are the devs with a response???..I had my fill of the caustic attitude in RB years ago…
Yeah he could, that’s why he did. He was faster than you from the jump and had an altitude advantage from the jump. Both things mean he will catch you.

the A-36 has less drag than the p47 (i think) so in a dive it should catch the p47, right?
