I like playing ~9.3 because it’s so diverse. Some vehicles get armor, others get something else but most will have pretty strong pros while having pretty strong cons at the same time, making it fun to play around those things.
What’s even better, Italy has a really solid 9.3 lineup. You get T-72, 1A5, OF-40, Centauro, VBC.
Really complaining about the TAM? DM33 is the default round for 9.3s and ita mobility and armour are average. Plus the majority of 10.3s got moved to 10.7. In fact many 9.3s need to move up- your T-72s and equivalents, which are nigh invulnerable in a downtier with firepower and armour that are still excellent even at max uptier
9.3 is one of the best BRs in the game. It was already strong before 10.0/10.3 got moved up, now it’s even better. Pretty much all 9.3s have competitive firepower at 10.0/10.3, the ones that don’t make up for it in other areas such as armor or mobility.
The lineup’s alright, I’d just remove the OF-40 Mk.2A and T-72 and add the VCC 60/80 and SIDAM 25 or Shilka (they of course aren’t good, but it’s the best SPAA we get). Ngl idk why people think the VBC is any good, I think it should’ve just stayed at 9.0 and even then it suffers from compression.
I remember back in the day when I was playing SIDAM and it was pretty meh at it’s BR with like humongous repair cost. Wasn’t even worth spawning it in.
I think it’s a decent vehicle for a 4-5th spawn later in the game when enemies exhaust their armored options.
If they are peaking like that, they will have their hull exposed. From there, hitting lower center mass will kill 90%+ of the time. If not, they get one shot before having a 20sec repair.
1.2km distance could be more difficult but apfsds negates most need to account for bullet drop and it is pretty easy to hit things far out with some practice.
Don’t bother with 9.3 though, just play 9.7 instead because of the frequency of uptier to 10.0/10.3, you are going to see the same enemies you see when playing 9.3s as 9.7 is always 120sp and 9.3 always 100-110sp.
his cannon probably wont do anything to the front of your tank until hes dead because it takes you 1sec to have your bullet hit him and atgms travel way slower than apfsds therefore hes also dead before being able to use them on you
just shoot him once and hes dead
and? destroy gun and shoot a couple times and hes dead
