Constantly uptiered to 9.3 as 8.3 U.S.
Im not mad about being uptiered. Im mad about constantly being uptiered. I cant remember the last time I fought another 8.3 or even an 8.0 vehicle. Its constant T72As, 2S25 and T-64s.
I did a quick pull of 10 games. Of those ten games. 7 were full uptiers. The other 3? 9.0.
Anyone else suffering through the same thing?
Finished typing, went back to game. 9.3 again.

I don’t know about ground specfically , but someone did a “sampling” for air (or that’s my memory) and it was like you said, around 70% uptiers (this i remember).
On the other hand , what do you expect since you can’t downtier anyway.
The downtier is practically …your BR. You are not going down in BR. The others are going up in BR.
And i’m asking what do you expect, because there are 4 spots you may be:
Full uptier - 1.0 Br
Partial uptier - 0,7Br
Partial uptier - 0,3 Br
and what we call downtier - your own BR.
That’s why we say with or without any decompression the spread should be 0,7 …where it is a slight possibility to have a chance. 1.0 Br is huge difference.
Right. I understand the reasoning behind the BRs and that occasionally some vehicles will be at a disadvantage but every. single. game. is just awful
As you go higher up in br there are generally more players, so the trend of uptiers vs downtiers skews towards uptiers out of necessity rather than anything else
It clearly isn’t every. single. game… and it isn’t so much “some vehicles” it is “some BR’s” - some BR’s are more popular than others and depending where those popular ones lie they may give more up- or down-tiers to BR’s either side of them that are less popular.

I can see that in 11.0 ARB, i usually don’t get 12.0s uptiers, most frequent are 11,7 uptiers and many games are 11.0 (because the popular 10,3 and 10,7 uptiers).
Sure its not every single game, that was a figure of speech. However. It IS a vast majority. Which is annoying and frustrating
You have to learn to exploit the game. That’s what German players do. Since their BRs are so wacky, they easily get constant downtiers because they can. Hence why so much seal clubbing is done by German players.
But I want to play these vehicles.
I find I’m constantly uptiered in the U.S. tree, mostly among 8.3 and 9.3.
It only gets worse. 10.3 is premium brackets, which means the second you hit 9.3, it will be nothing but Premiums.
You bring a 5.7BR lineup and you face 6.7BR most of the time…so you think, fine, I’ll bring a 6.7BR lineup so I can at least play my BR…and you get 7.7BR.
This is the reason why I don’t bother with BR changes anymore, there is no point in discussing whether a tank should be 0.3BR higher or lower, when you get uptiered most of the time anyways.
To start, you will almost always be upteired. Only 4 ppl on each team can be top teir. Therefore most games you will be upteired at least some what.
Also, you are playing a BR where there is nearly NOTHING below you. No one wants to play 7.3 except Japan and maybe US. There are TONS of people wanting to play 8.7 and 9.3. Of course you are going to get upteired more often just on player numbers.
I’m not sure why the complaints are ta 8.3 either. Almost every nation with a 8.3 list worth playing is capable of fighting anything at 9.3.
The problem is you think it would be like 25/25/25/25 for your matchmaking outcomes for the most part but its ALWAYS more like 10/10/40/40
Basically you are right, but try to bring a 8.3 Britan lineup with APDS and HEAT-FS vs a 9.3 USSR lineup.
In addition, keep in mind that when you bring a regular lineup, then you usually don’t have a fully spaded lineup either.
So when you just unlocked a tank or you’re still spading it, then you absolutely don’t want to fight against enemies that are a full BR above you.
which means someone else is getting 40/40/10/10
The distribution is across the entire population - not for individuals
im not seeing it in the community, and the only matchmaking rules are really that the range can only be 1.0, and importantly for the point you’re trying to make, only 4 ppl on each team can truly be fully downtiered by 1.0. I’m pretty sure this is what causes the issue because it means they create a ton of games for the downtiered bracket rather than creating games upwards for the lower BR people
there is no rules regarding “fairness” for anybody only being uptiered by 0.3 or 0.7, you can get these games all day and only 4 ppl on the enemy team got downtiered and only 4 on yours did
