Generally well know for using and modifieing capturet equipment, this tank is no less. Better know as T 26, the Pz. 740 (r) was a batch of 10 vehicles, where the turrets were removed and replaced by an 7,5 cm Pak 97/38 L/36 in an open mount, to get more mobile anti tank guns into action. These where send to the 3. Kp. Pz. Jg. Abt. 563 in Oct. 1943, however duo to the obviouse drawbacks of both the hull and gun, it was also quite quickly taken out of service again and replaced by the Marder III, beeing a mere stop gap.
The 7,5 cm Pak 97/38 L/36 is a german modified french anti tank gun, equipped with a new Muzzlebrake and placed into the 5 cm Pak 38 L/60 mount (thats why its 97/38).
In game it would be a nice low Br SPG put infront of the Marder III and would boost the low ranks AT capability especially in an Uptier. This would also show the development and useage of newer and bigger mobile AT guns.

7,5 cm Pak 97/38 L/36 (And different versions)
The 7,5 cm Pak 97/38 L/36 was a combination of the French M1897, with a Rheinmetall Muzzle brake and placed on the 5 cm Pak 38 mounting. It was created out of need as not yet the Pak 40 was available and more guns with higher velocity were needed, as such this gun, equipped with the K.Gr. Pz. (P) which is unlike popular believe not a old Polish Aphe round, but instead the german K.Gr. Rot Pz adapted to the guns, which were used by the French, polish and American units and even up to the 75mm M3 gun. Furthermore the gun took great usage of adapted Heat rounds, beeing able to fight both the T-34 and Kw tanks, tho still with relatively low velocity.
This also includes the 7,5 cm Fk 231 (f), 232 (f) and Fk 97 (p)
