they are nearly supersonic, so unless your tank can instantly accelerate to atleast 100km/h to escape the blast and frag radius, you’re boned.
i challenge you to “dodge” any bomb or rocket dropped on your face

You realize that the hori was never completed there cannot be a source for it reload speed, at best you can get the reload for the gun on it’s unistalled configuration which quite often is much lower than the installed one, this is like asking for proof for the inexistance of the kh38
10 rounds a minute is a 6 second reload.
Just because I screwed the order of operations doesn’t change the fact it’s still a 6 second reload.
i’d save your energy arguing, this is the same guy who thinks you can dodge rockets in a tank
@PercussionCap can you see this? stop making calculations in your head about the reload and stop sending me incompleted sources
So I need to note one thing
As could be seen, I speak here only about gun reload. It is not really interesting to argue about balance or Ho-Ri by itself (if Ho-Ri Prototype can be called super alt history, Production is completely fake)
But about real historic things I wanna to prevent creating “myths” by typical “I saw nothing so it didn’t exist”
About Ho-Ri gun we know pretty much and it’s reload test was described here:
From here reload speed of Ho-Ri, even inside the hull, would be like 4-6 seconds and it is based on real sources.
So this talks
just not true
where did you got it that it applies even inside the tank?
Idk what gaijin was thinking putting it at 7.3, but it should be atleast 7.7 in GRB.
The Ho-Ris are a non issue.
No where. It is just can be seen
there’s a difference between a gun which is not protected by any armour and a gun in a tank, ofcourse the one in which is not in the tank will reload faster because they have more loaders and they have air to breathe easier. this can be seen on the vfw because its a gun not protected by any armour and it has a reaload time of 4 seconds and a ferdinant which has its gun protected by armour and the same number of loaders just its reload to be 8.7 seconds
So
You wanted sources for reload so much and didn’t even read what was sent to you?
There is information that Ho-Ri gun could reload by itself in ~3 seconds. And because of it is only gun test I wrote reload 4-6 seconds. 6 seconds is literally double of actual reload speed
Ah, it’s in the suggestion post instead.
You should take your own advice. Why do you “think” a very spacious casemate, where TWO loaders can stand up in, and the cannon has a partially automated loading device, would be as slow as the tank with much less space, worse ammo location, and no assisted loading?
ok
Do you want me to do it in something with no armor as well?
The loading time for the gun uninstalled is, at worst, 6 seconds. Currently in-game with an aced crew it is 8.6 seconds. Unlike other tanks, it would be affected far less as the loaders have a lot of space, unlike T29 or Tiger 2 105. So yes, it’s not only plausible, but even too slow.
yeah if the ammo is located right next to the breach and not under the crew which makes it harder to lift
didnt land on you+you had armour and the bombs were small
Again this “at worse” is an guesstimation…The tank was never made thus you cannot claim that you have a source for it’s reload speed, this tank at best can reload faster the first round assuming that the setup allows to fire with a round already on the jammer, for all the secuent shot reload time your 6s in just as valid as the reload that it currently have.
Since you keep mentioning the t29 since it existed you can actually have a source for it’s reload speed

So I guess you have that full document and your answer is based on sources and not just imagination again?
yeah if the rockets land on you not 30 meters away just like in the video you sent
is there source that the reload was tested not with loaders having the ammo right in their hands? next to the breach?
Yeah there is, with source that they haven’t tested it on Moon
Turning back, you got the source you wanted and don’t you think that you should disproof it and proof your position?
the automated loading device is not equipped on the ho-ri, only on the gun.
