Okay, I bring again in discussion the TOG II event:
Wasn’t that like 35000 mission points per stage? Yeah it isn’t rank 7 or whatever. Still that was an okeish event in terms of grind. And I didn’t see many complaints.
They gone to winter event (which was garbage) with that 40k or whatever and players (including me) were starting to get pissed with topics on forums. Now they’re again in the 40-45k range and surprise surprise, multiple negative topics on forums. Again, I don’t remember people getting pissed at the TOG II event (at least not so much). Why doesn’t Gaijin learn from that instead?

I think it’s taking on proportions that leave players with less time out. Sometimes it’s not just about what comes out in the end. It’s also about the feeling of having achieved something.
It should be fun. Now it’s easy to say don’t do it.

The thing is … I’m really addicted to WT. I love it for what it offers me in most parts.
I’ve been in WT for 210 days now. And the increase in requirements that I have seen in this short period of time is enormous and leaves me with one question.
Doesn’t Gaijin want me as a player and my money?
Those aren’t limited time vehicles, nor can you get them over a 3 week period

Not wanting to participate in event that has way too high score requirements is opposite of being addicted.

Clearly they don’t, they create events they don’t want you participate in and add vehicles you won’t be able to get, which inevitably will create a disconnect between the player and the game when he feels that more and more of it’s content is out of reach and the game isn’t designed for them to a point where they cannot keep up.

I feel like you’re confusing yourself with all the made up stories, lies and strawman arguments.
You’re endlessly arguing the point that I’m a meth addict for thinking the grind is too much.
It is BECAUSE of those multipliers that people with jobs can participate.
And the result of that is a FOMO obsessed community, that turns blue teammates into enemies, while they use the cheesiest gameplay tactics available.
This results in degraded gameplay where nobody is happy, and always at each others throats. Is that what you want out of this game?
Personally, I’m sick of these FOMOers dipping into SimEC lobbies and trying to force PvE games. These events are only degrading the entire community. Even when I choose not to play these events, I’m still negatively affected.

No, they exist to make people play top tier and to give the illusion of support. The number is artificial, the modifier is artificial.
Just reduce it across the board to like, 20-25k needed in total which is around where it is IIRC for the 40k with best modifiers and remove the modifiers. Eveyrone on all tiers, new or old can then go for it on equal footing. Still not amazing, but better for those with access to only rank III or IV or prefer lower rank games.
