45,000 for one stage in the new event?!

Ah yes. Disagreeing = trolling.

Again making up arguments and stories no one actually said.

To bring this back to solutions; a possibly option is 45k necessary over the 2 day period for the coupon to sell it (which still means you have to be dedicated to get it, and won’t cost Gaijin much at all) with 20k per two day period to just get the thing for yourself. Allows people to collect it if they want to over that period without too much strife (still take some effort but far more fair) and allow those more dedicated who want to sell it to actually get something reasonable for their time.

But he’s not wrong.
From FOMO to underestimating the time/effort required, a lot people bite onto goals and once they’ve mentally committed to to it, they will “stick to it” far longer than than may be rational.
Its an aspect of human nature Gaijin targets as a big part of its strategy. Some people like the challenge of pushing themselves to complete something (even just an arbitrary reward in a video game), other just want to enjoy the game. The problem is that Gaijin aims it major events for the former, not the far larger later group.
Burnout is thing. Luckily, unlike an actual job, you can walk away from a game. I’ve personally had to stop playing for weeks after grinding events because it just starts to suck after a while.
But I guess it works for some folks. It definitely does for the Snail.

The general problem is that it is bad design of an event. Being unable to put down the game is irrelevant here.

The problem is that the design makes it where you can’t put down the game in the first place. And Gaijin thinks its okay to subject its players to that.

This isn’t about FOMO though, and long term even those people won’t make the same mistake 20 times a year to get into an event thinking they can do it, and that’s still predatory design.

Their strategy tends to be psychology 101 but failing to apply it to their field, just like this event doesn’t make sense when dealing with virtual products to create scarcity of something that exists in infinite amounts.

Same thing with those battle trophies, why create a casino like experience and make people think they almost got something good, when those trophies aren’t even able to be purchased anyways?

Here’s a simple answer to that which I can’t believe needs to be said.

Argue against it. Encourage consumer friendly practices. Predatory practices kill projects.

Make it 30K for each stage AND remove the positive multipliers for RB, SB and high ranks. These events are not designed for newer players and people with jobs.

That will dumb it down and give much easier access to
these vehicles.

Removing the multipliers defeats the purpose of progression. Why make it easier for low rank players to get a tier 7 limited vehicle?

It has nothing to do with being new or having a job, it has to do with your playtime and efficiency.

They never gave us the promised grind discount for other nations, if we get a top tier vehicle for one of the nations.

… and that’s why they have top tier squadron vehicles, right?

My two cents on the situation is that Gaijin is trying to squeeze money out of the whales by making it prohibitively difficult and time-consuming to grind this new event, thus artificially increasing the price of it in the market. I won’t grind it so I don’t really care but 750k mission points for a trade coupon is a scummy practice.

yea i was complaining about that to before until one of those “just wait” people shut me of several times"

New players (< Tier III) can’t even compete in it at all, and the only people who will find this remotely comfortable will be top-tier whales who can just farm points with OP premiums.

why be so elitist?

yea wales and bots seam to be gaijins target audience wounder why they dont make a nft/walethunder game and charge 20 dollars for the aim9b per match and unit and those people that have cash to spend can buy r77/aim9m at 70 dollars a piece

I mean they want you to spend 20+ hours to get 1 vehicle, it has everything to do with hours lol. Double that to sell it and increase it if you only just hit rank III.

Don’t give them ideas WoT already does “premium shells”, but I feel like the event grind could be better. What if premium players get a 1 extra day as a bonus? Gaijin would make a lot of money by selling premium accounts and GE from missed mission stars.

Gaijin tried premium extra FPE and repair stuff and got blasted for it lol.
