Su-30MK2

Aircraft Info:

Spoiler

The Su-30MK2 is a 4+ generation multi role fighter made by the Sukhoi bureau, and is a further evolution of the Su-30MK line of fighters, upgrades include improvements to the fire control and radar systems such as replacing the earlier N001VE with the improved N001VEP radar. Giving it the ability to utilize a larger arsenal of anti shipping missiles such as the Kh-35 and Kh-59 when compared to the earlier MK. Currently Indonesia has been operating the Su-30MK2 since 2009 with the TNI-AU having bought 9 units in total.

Aircraft history:

Spoiler

With Indonesia already having operated 2 Su-30MK fighters they purchased back in 2003, and based on the positive experience they had with them the TNI-AU was looking to increase its Su-30 fleet. With the TNI-AU agreeing to purchase 3 Su-30MK2 fighters in 2007 to bolster their fleet. With the first deliveries taking place in 2008 having the fighters be shipped out in a Antonov cargo plane, and reassembly taking place in Indonesia and the third one being delivered in January 2009. They would be handed over to the TNI-AU later the same month with them being officially included in their arsenal. With an additional order in December 2011 for 6 more Su-30MK2s, they would be delivered batches of 2 through out the years with the final delivery taking place in September 2013. An additional contract of 6 extra MK2s were planned in 2013 but it would never end up being signed. With the TNI-AU having assigned their Su-30MK2 fleet to the 11th squadron based out of the sultan hasanuddin air base near Makassar serving along side their Su-27SKs and SKMs models.

also worth mentioning that all ID sukhois can carry the domestic P-Series bombs (P-100L, P-250L, P-500L) on single mounts or the standard FAB triple racks

+1 coming to japan tech tree

would be interesting to see just because there unique. A lot of countries have been developing there own domestic aircraft bombs because it prevents a choke point.

Hopefully the improvements do bring a little more utility to the Japanese tree especially around the radar.

So basically the same as 30MK2 and MKK ingame
How about 27SKM?

I only found the HUD photo so far. Su-27SKM has English HUD, in comparison with Su-27SK Russian HUD. Might need to rewatch those old TV documentaries, maybe they got some footage.

The main problem is that WE are voting for copy-pasting vehicles.
Then we cry about it.
Plus I really don’t want a squadron vehicle that can be unlocked by any player with such good weapons (Kh-31 and Kh-38). Toptier is in a state where it is already just CAS, so we really need to slow down the addition of real free Kh-38 and 31 slingers.

since this the mk2, it’d most likely just be a copy paste of the AMV, so no KH38.

IDK he said it could carry those.

All MK flankers are capable of carrying the Kh-38 it’s just gaijin said they didn’t want it added to premiums
