doubt it air launch version because at the start Indonesia only interested in Coastal battery version of Brahmos
would the astra mk1 be better than the r-77-1? seems to be basically base r-77 clone
probably more range and less pull
due to the lack of grid fins

Found this old article from the long-gone Angkasa magazine website, it’s said that the Army’s Bell 205 was also capable of carrying rocket pods, but no more details about it.

i mean of course Bell heli can mounted guns and rocket as a gunship but the problem is did the army every really do that?

With Malaysia in game I am sad we don’t have her P-51 these WW2 props plus the Thai stuff would provide some good fighter bomber options for ground line ups.

I have a theory that back in the 1950s, AURI sourced their aerial bombs and rockets from the British, and that seems to support it. It’s unfortunate that I have yet to find sources explicitly mentioning it.
A while ago I discovered that Indonesian B-25 and B-26 were equipped with what looks like British bombs.

tbf we’re still using British bombs well until the 1990s (in the case of the hawk53), and also there was a lot of mention of the RAF in the Angkasa 1951-52 books, but dunno if theres a correlation there or not

- Navigation
- DL
- GPS

Id argue the SKM is better for the tech tree since its somewhat unique to Indonesia, and I can see the MK2 be used as a prem for its CAS role since its basically the same as the venezuelan one
