Multi-purpose has never increased the BRs of any vehicle.
IRT hasn’t increased the BR of SPAA either over radar tracking; otherwise ZA-35 and PGZ09 would be higher BRs, as examples.
yeah cuz normally gaijin does not pay attention to minor features like IRST or the versatility of vehicles, but this does not change the fact that this just complements to the already good features and this only complements its capacities even more by giving it a very compatible skill, in this case, HE-VT with IRST, and not only that, but the APFSDS performs incredibly well for an autocannon-based vehicle at 10.0, even 9.0 mbt’s can get fron pen’d by it and its pretty unfair, especially since as a light tank and being more modern it has better reaction time than such 9.0 vehicles

I expect my Strf 9040C experience to be similar to my HSTVL, Begleit, and 2S38 experience since learning how to do well enough in them.
It is interesting that 2S38 and Strf 9040C can deal with a lot of 9.0s easily in the hands of good players.

yeah thats a thing why I agree it needs higher BR, it is superior fighting against lower tier players
the reason why I dont agree or disagree that HSTV need to go to a higher BR, it got 11.3 already, there are no so much downtier from here, normally toptier experience, if you ask then I say maybe raise to 11.7? I never had so many chance to play it, most time I was simply fight against it.
but what did you mean 12.0 when the top tier is 11.7?

Dunno why people want HSTVL at 12.0, but that’s what they want by wanting 2S38 at 11.0.
Since HSTVL is the single fastest turreted tank in-game, with the best round of the auto-cannons, best gun laying of the auto-cannons, and among the best optics.
HSTVL is easily 1.0 BR superior to 2S38.

I’m going to again ask for calculations here, make a percentile increase comparison between Strf9040C - 2S38 and HSTVL. (on all the main big changes, also compare if it gains new tech or not)
look at how much better 2S38 is compared to 9040C and then how much worse it is than the HSTVL.
and based upon those numbers alone place it in a BR between the two.

what your logic is 2S38 should always 1.0 BR lower than HSTV otherwise you are wrong, while you considering the different between two vehicles, and doesnt give a shift because gaijin never changed BR because that reason, and when people says maybe is time to change, you start to throw more vehicles that have their specific advantage and starts to question about it.
So yeah, because 2S38 isnt HSTVski, so 2S38≠HSTV, it doesnt means that 2S38 should and only goes higher or lower BR with HSTV together, done

I cannot at this time determine if they all need increased. I have not played all of them enough to make that type of conclusion.
I’ve only analyzed and played them enough to comment on 2S38 should be 0.3 higher than Strf 9040C, and 1.0 below HSTVL.
playing the vehicles wont give you the information you would need to BR place them. it would be anecdotal, which is why i think the numbers are so important.
(if i play absolute garbage in the 2S38 and like a god in the 9040C, does that mean the 9040C should increase in BR? No, because how well i do in specific vehicles as an individual should have absolutely no bearing on its BR placement.)
yeah maybe 10.3 is fine, perhaps 10.7, potential 11.0
however since there are no two vehicles the same, so I dont really agree that every single one of its compatriots needs to be the same BR. like seriously, is not as good at HSTV doesnt means its not a good vehicle in its BR
