@中日友好
BMP-2M is balanced just fine where it is.
2S38 right now is performing about the same as Strf 9040C, BUT it has the potential for being 0.3 better in matches so 2S38 should indeed be 10.3. Glad you 100% agree with me on 2S38.
nah this time its german main
@Ion_Protogen
I never once said Strf 9040C is equal to 2S38.
In-fact in the quote you quoted, I am stating that 2S38 should be 10.3.
The irony is you said this but you are the only one that did it.
HMMMM… Seems like you are equating one to the other. The only difference is that you said there it has less pen than the 2S38, which you used to justify very unclearly that the 2S38 should be 10.3.
Please learn to structure arguments better, and directly state your opinion because it is very confusing arguing with you.
You do it so many times. In my last response you literally did, how dense are you? You still haven’t pointed out where that other person said that the 2S38 should be 10.3.
Not equating, comparing.
I put the Begleit, 2S38, Strf 9040C, and HSTVL into the camp of auto-lights.
Of which my Begleit is no 0.9:1 KDR from 0.6 in about a day. Amazing what learning how to use auto-lights will do to performance on a dormant vehicle.
All I did was disagree on BMP-2M as I see that as M3A3/ZBD04A/9040 BILL/VCC-80/30 equivalent.
In-fact out of all of those VCC-80/30 is what I’m most looking forward to.
BMP-2M’s not spunky enough for me.
Started playing Begleit again, and started playing HSTVL flat out.
I like both far more than 2S38.
I anticipate Strf 9040C will be closest to my 2S38 experience when I get mine in like a month.
play them at 10.0 begleit its at 9.3 it dosent have apfsds, HSTVL its at 11.7
Yeah, Begleit is 9.3 instead of 10.3 cause it doesn’t have APFSDS.
HSTVL is 11.3, not 11.7, because it’s the fastest smallest lethal auto-light in the game 2nd to none.
2S38 should be 10.3 as it has more pen than Strf 9040C.
I am performing better in Begleit and HSTVL better than I thought I would.
My analysis was pretty on point though as I wouldn’t say Begleit nor HSTVL are over-performing just cause I’m now performing better in them than I did in 2S38.
I’d say I learned something since the last time I played 2S38 that further increased the performance of these vehicles.
I was rather disappointed with the C performance, compared to my other IFV’s.
Compared to the B, you gain a “better” APFSDS, but lose: 10 to 5 hp/t, if you play AB or RB, and a little more then half of your total ammo count.
i say “better” round because you gain 30 mm in flat and a little less in angled but at over 100 SL per shot and at 5 rounds a second this adds up. i’ve had good matches where i fired almost half of the 120 rounds carried, and i had to pay 5k SL in ammo restock alone, afterwards i’ve gone back to the FREE stock round.
I like the CV90’s but the 40mm versions require:
fire discipline, short controlled burst;
awareness of the ready rack, if you run out you’re screwed;
upgraded ammo is rather expensive;
good thing you missed the old times when cheat-fs from 105mm was like 1.5k lions per click :D
IMO its a better OTOMATIC, has more APFSDS, lower profile, light weight, faster fire rate. lol
and 10.0 instead of 11.3.
Not to mention it has IRST, which works better than the OTO’s radar system, because it can’t be Chaffed and RWR doesn’t pick up IRST locks.
The CV 9040 model’s B & C, as well as the LVKV variant, all have an “optional” LWS, and an “Auto-Track/Point” system that slews the turret over to the direction it receives the beam. They also all have a IRST gunner sight. I currently don’t have any of these, but I’m on my way to unlocking the LvKv 9040C.
You’re use to that lower HP/T if you play Begleit or 2S38 though.
Or here me out, maybe the OTOMATIC is over BR’d.
Not only is KDR not the best metric for performance in all vehicle types, but using a sample size of one individual isn’t particularly clever to judge efficacy. That is basic knowledge of statistics.
Never said one player was.
In order to compare multiple players you need a KDR disparity number, which you get after looking at one profile and getting their average KDR disparity of the like-stuff.
Just so we are aware, the OTO is Ka-band radar, which I am fairly confident cannot be picked up by most RWR systems (Most RWR in game searches for G band, K band or X band IIRC- their may be some others I am forgetting but those are the main ones).
But yeah its on par with the OTO.
Idk what it is in particular, but I’d assume your correct, because I don’t know.
