What? The PUMA is a fantastic platform, and it has an unmanned turret it can actually take advantage of.
It’s also faster than both the 2S38 or Bradley, and the CV90s, too. And very survivable. At least far more than a 2S38.
The Bradley is WAY worse than a PUMA. Maybe if the TOW-2Bs weren’t gimped (in the same way BILL isn’t) and the launchers weren’t stupid, it’d be a match.

but right now its a straight up repair simulator and single shot 30mm after the first hit in the turret
or someone hitting your barrel for 2 sec with cal 50…

Your K/D in the BMP-2 is 1 kill per death (combined with air kills, btw), your K/D in the PUMA is 1.3.
So - why has your in-game performance not matched your forum opinions?

Right I’m not gonna provide a take on whether the 2S38 should or should not go up. I’m gonna critique your conduct on the forum.
You keep feeling the need to pull stats out of your ass against everyone who disagrees. You’re disingenuous, and keep insulting people, even Necro, who was literally trying to understand what makes you think the 2S38 shouldn’t go up. The man is trying to understand your argument, and is trying to see it. Insulting the guy is literally doing the precise opposite of “convincing” him to agree or come and see your point of view.
This is partly why anyone who is convinced the 2S38 should go up just does not change their mind. Because you’ve used the whole works of insulting and derogatory language:

BMP-2 is in a whole different environment to the Puma

The environment is different - but the BMP-2 is certainly not unable to deal with things in its environment.
PUMAs are very easy to kill (in MBTs at least), have slightly better penetration than the Bradley (with the same firerate), a turretless crew and being slightly more survivable… at the cost of any ATGMs.
At its current state, I don’t see why it shouldn’t go down to 9.7.
I don’t think the 50mm of extra pen really do much.
I would sure take those spall liners, the far more survivable platform, the extra gun depression and the higher ROF, though… On the 9040. Hell - I’ve actually started grinding Sweden (no premium vehicles, just tech tree) just because of the Lvkv9040C. And that 2 extra crew with SPAA spawn costs.
And it’s been pretty easy so far.
Shame about the unstabilized T-54 at 8.0, when it should be 7.7, though.
And it’s a shame that the Centurion Mk.3 is 7.7 when it should be 7.3. (For both SWE and GB).
The Strv 105 also seems like it’s gonna suck. The rest all seem great, though. I gave up on the Russian tree even with the T-55AM-1 to speed up the progression, but Sweden’s a lot more palatable.
This is a joke right. This thing is a total menace where it is right now, better anti-tank vehicle than air however.
It’s definitely not as much of a menace than when it was at 7.3.
It starts to kick in hard when you get to rank VI, like, it take quite a while to research things if you not purely grinding. I’m currently working on the LVKV 9040 C rn I think, can’t remember though.
Absolutely. This is coming from a Strv 103 player, and I have no side armor. But it’s still got APDS worth a buck or two.

I’m 25k RP away from it right now, and I can’t wait.
I’ve got a GB main friend that I play with and he always rips in it and talks about how good it is.
It’s got an incredible belt and the stabilizer - it’s great in the test drive, that’s for sure.
