The fact that you disregard the HSTVL’s gun depression and small size, and superior round as evidence that it is better than the 2S38? (just to name a few valid points)

Also,you said 2S38 cant be frontally 50 cal´d, well it can. And unlike HSTVL which have weird and trolly damage model which eat rounds with no damage or minimal damage, any hit to 2S38 is oneshot. 2S38 have no gun depression, it cannot hull down,cause hit into turret sends it into space.

I can aim just fine, i disabled one last night and my friend finished it with his 8.0 somua, I’m not disputing they’re squishy but they outperform every 9.3 to 10 vehicle they come across if they get on flanks they will tear through everything, they are one of the most powerful light tanks within it’s br range it can easily cope in higher tiers the coping part is being fearful of it getting moved away from it’s 9.3 seal clubbing area vehicle stats aside you know this thing doesn’t belong facing early 80 to 90’s vehicles

57 mm post pen is also worse than 76 mm one, where 57 have the nerfed sub 75 mm spall.
RDF is HSTVL with more ammo and no smokes pretty much.

I should also clarify that when I talk about pen, I mean the ability to take out crew members or severe the vehicle. Not just taking out a gun which can be repaired.

By that deffinitions PzH2000/Vidar doesn’t belong facing late 40’s early 50’s vehicles… but they do :)
Literally on the UFP, that big plate where all the crew is,gets penned by 12.7 mm.
Hstvl has better armor and is faster. This post is comparing the rdf to the 2s38. If I wanted to mention the hstvl, I would’ve made that clear in the original post. 🙂
And the Pzh2000 is woefully undertiered and wholly more powerful than everything it faces.
