2S38 is too OP for BR10

Most if not all light vehicle’s at high BR’s are undertiered.

The ‘light vehicle’s’ we have are and act more as glorified TD’s with all the light vehicle gizmos as extra.

Most light vehicles in the game, period, quite frankly.

M1128 is a driving barn. Huge Hull that can be .50cal from side, 7.5sec reload and while is strong hulldown is only has -5 gun depression do with turret in the back it is hard to use. And dont forget about traction and speed nerfs for wheeled vehicles.
Also there is russian made tow2b that shit on it called HE round

And you? 3BM46 has 532mm of pen at 10.0

EDIT: 3BM60 has 580mm of pen at 10.0

Yet the Sprut has a crewed turret while the wolfpack does not.

False. It has incorrect turret depression rates, and reload speed. Its mobility is also very poor for a wheeled vehicle, although thats all wheeled vics really

And the M1128 can have its breech MGd to death

In a 105mm cannon while the Sprut has more with a 125mm. Are you actually serious?

Stryker MGS’s reload speed is its accurate 7.5 seconds from the manual.
Its mobility is accurate to real life; Stryker in its APC form without ANY external additions was very mobile as a LAV 3, however increasing the weight that the MGS program did slowed it down. This is well documented.
And as for depression, you only need watch as it hits the air-conditioning unit that it’s rather accurate.

As for Sprut, that has a worse round as well as crewed turret. Sprut has tracks which is the singular bonus it has over Stryker MGS.

Incorrect. Its 6s, or 10 rounds a minute. It is missing sideways depression all around

Ive seen the basis on why they altered it to 7.5s, its the most blatant excuse ive ever seen. They took their information from an Army Press Cpl., who had a misconception of the ROF

Then a Colonel who was a Tank brigade officer wrote about its actual characteristics and Gaiji found that to be noncredible…it only takes 2 braincells to see which source is credible.

Yes there are manuals stating 7.5s, but they have already been proven incorrect and outdated

How does that matter when the pen difference is 11mm?

Does the extra 15mm of diameter mean anything? (the answer is no).

The Sprut is not used by nearly anyone for a reason. Your argument is in bad faith.

you can kill the 2s25 with a .30 cal from the sides…

M900 pens 90mm more at range.

it doesnt the 3bm46 does pen slightly more even at range, 2000m the m900 pens 486/0º and 562/60º meanwhile the 3bm46 does 507/0º and 592/60º, it pens more than the m900 at close range and at long range.

Can you point out on what range the M900 has 90mm more pen?

Thats best you can come up with ? Manned turret?
SPRUT M is a bit better in about everything then the M1128, but it is according to you fine at 10.0 but not the M1128. I think any further discussion would be fruitless :)

Ah, 46; Memories can be fickle sometimes.
Then again, it took me a year to actually get around to getting the Sprut M.
Then yeah, Sprut & Stryker MGS are more equal than I remembered.

The M1128 can sit behind and peek over cover, unable to be OHK in this position (with APFSDS), while the Sprut can be crew knocked in a single hit in the same position.

That’s a massive advantage.

Then there’s the fact that the Sprut has a carrousel that can be hit by 30 cal while the M1128’s ammo stoage is much more compartmentalized, protected, and in a decently easy area to hide. 50 caliber has trouble doing what 30 easily does to the Sprut. Both have gen 3 thermals. Both have similar reloads and shells.

The wolfpack is undeniably more survivable if played to it’s stengths. It has the same benefits people bitch about the PUMA for having.

Now, tell me, why is the Sprut-M better? Because it gets 11mm more raw pen?

not really a bit better in everything, it is better just in mobility, on the other hand the striker has much better survivability, armour, and gun handling ( much better vertical speed, the horizontal is slightly better but not much of a change), it also have a .50 cal which is always helpful.

IMO It is a bit better because:

  • it is over all smaller vehicle
  • it has better mobility (hp/t ratio, reverse speed, turning radius)
  • it has better optics (magnification & placement)
  • it has missile
  • it has slightly better RoF and Pen

And M1128 has some issues which SprutM probably does not have:

  • Gunner sight is placed low, hull is blocking forward view:

  • commander sight does not have the offset compensation and good portion of the forward view is blocked by that useless .50cal gun shield.

Both are undertiered, further example of the light tank hand holding. The 2S25 gets 3BM42 at 9.3 for example, whilst the MBT’s of 9.3 only get 3BM22.

These ‘light vehicles’, act and play as tank destroyers, getting more competitive rounds than their comparative MBT’s but get the spotting and scout drone bonuses of light vehicle’s too.
