You can detonate the ammo with common APHE but it doesn’t appear to kill the crew.
Still
Why is Wiesel 20mm 7.3 BRed and this Italian car 6.0? Same firepower, similar mobility. Top speed in favor of the Fiat. Ammo boxes are also not outside, like we have it with the Wiesel. So much better protection for the Fiat. On top this bonus missile, which can be used quite well out of movement to take out even heavy tanks. Once you get used to the range, you can get consistent driveby hits.
The BR difference is a bit excessive. Imho it should be 7.7, not 6.0…
- The Fiat is absolutely huge compared to the Weisel
- The Weisel has better gun handling
- The Weisel has thermals
- The Weisel is faster and has better manuverability (The Fiat will almost never reach its top speed and wheeled vehicles are awful for urban combat)
The only things that the weisel has going for it is that its small and has thermals. The fiat is better in all other respects.
Considering you genuinely believe the fixed elevation rocket launcher is OP idk what to tell you
Spoiler

Nah, it’s just the icing on the cake of an already under-br’d vehicle. Sorry if the truth offends you.
That’s how the concept of that vehicle genuinely looks like
Spoiler

one, weisel gets gen 3 thermals.
two, weisel gets a stabilizer
thirdly, weisel is small AF, it might die if someone looks at you, but even without using a bush, theyre hard to spot if you use your brain slightly and hide behind something that is actually solid cover. like a rock.
I dont think the weisel gets a stabilizer, and even if it does, it doesnt do anything because the platform is so small that any change in terrain at all sends your gun to the moon.
Yeah, it has thermals and is smaller, but not sure that’s worth a 1.3 br gap when the gun doesnt do anything.
It doesn’t.
Furthermore it has a limited gun traverse angle, 180° IIRC
About the general placement - weisel would actually feel worse playing at 6.7 than at 7.3 due to the presence of heavy armor and props it can’t counter effectively. Strange vehicle overall but I do think that 7.3-8.0 range is best for it, talking from the experience.
