Why should this be a memory issue? This is only some text with a few bytes. If its a storage issue, Gaijin could provide some info why its not possible or why its not done. Would be easier to disguss.
It could just be the number of times the dev wanted to hit Copy and Paste for the same code over and over again to get to the 18 that we have now.
I can’t imagine using 18 slots but I’m not going to tell others how to play their game, but I can see why it might have been “limited” to 18 for seemingly arbitrary reasons.
I spent 45 dollars on a rank 5 coastal event boat I’ll probably never use to get +1 slot. Gaijin please end my suffering. I just want autistically put together my presets for every BR that has a reasonable lineup.

This is half my motivation to work down the coastal line is just for more slots. I too really want infinite (or at least a lot more) slots. I have 7 lineups for ASB, 4 for ground and 3 for naval and few misc and I need more slots
I sure hope you don’t have all 10 Crew Slots as well.
I have
RAND (just a random preset slot at the beginning that i put whatever in when I need to)
NAVAL (just the higest naval lineup i have)
#.# GRB for the rest of the slots, and I have to constantly think about what I want to choose for these 14, and for ARB I either use RAND or just use the GRB lineup that have them
I have 7, 4 for ground vics and 3 for planes. For Russia which I play less I only have 5. 3 ground vics 2 planes. Ideally in the lineups I have room for whatever I need for ground, mediums/heavies/light/spaa, and for planes CAP/CAS/Bomber(heli at higher BRs).
WTF man?? It’s one of this situation where you don’t understand cry or laugh.
Game has billions of more important problems (graphics, balance, bugs, sounds and so on) then buying presents, + how the hell 18 isn’t enough??

Enjoying the game beyond just grinding the highest BR you have? At least for me its fun to go back and play some older BRs, especially now that im basically done grinding 2 TTs.
And those problems aren’t easy to fix, adding a UI element that gives you +1 preset slot for 500 GE or whatever is trivial. Fixing ghost shells, directional sound etc. is not so easy.

This problems are so hard to fix… Gaijin can’t solve this them last 10 years man, if you believe because of “it’s hard” you are delusional. They not fixing those problems, because they don’t care, fixing them not forcing players to donate more, so why fix?!
Having to go into a preset, which is already setup for a specific BR, tear it apart, find all the vehicles for the BR I want to play, and doing this every time I want to play something that doesn’t fit into the 18 I have is annoying. If you play naval as well its way worse.
There are plenty of games with devs that care about the game and players a lot more with just as long standing bugs they can never seem to fix. I think you are underestimating how hard it is to figure out 10+ year spaghetti code in this game and why bugs are happening. I don’t think it benefits gaijin to purposely ignore things, there is at least no profit incentive for them to do so, the opposite really.

How could this be a problem?
It’s fully gaijin’s work, we just need a official response, if yes, then good, if no, tell us why.
tbh, compared to other serious game issues like balancing or something this’s tiny enough.
Nobody is asking for that. 16 Lineups isn’t enough for people who play MULTIPLE GAMEMODES or simply play a WIDE RANGE of vehicles in ONE gamemode.

You are whats wrong with this forum tbh. You have no reason to object to this, but you do so because you need attention or something? There is no downside here. You simply don’t use the lineup system much so you think nobody else has to either and therefore any positive change helping others that does not affect you will end with you saying no. Get over yourself <3
If i had 16 line-ups per gamemode it probably wouldnt be enough :D
People think adding something like this is going to make other bug fixes and problems take longer as if they are even comparable, have the same teams working on them, or adding something straight forward is the same as trying to figure out bugs that have existed for years.
