It’s absolutely impossible to play on BR 14.7. I’ve played this game for 3,500 hours. I can play on any BR aircraft except the 14.7. Playing on the Eurofighter, it feels as though people have sold their souls for this rating, because I don’t believe it’s possible to play like this. No matter how I try to play: aggressively, passively, at high altitude, at low altitude, cautiously, flanking. Nothing works; everyone seems to be able to dodge my missiles. In turn, no matter how many countermeasures I use, no matter how much I manoeuvre, I always die. Whose profile you open, everyone has a KD higher than 2 or 3, whilst I, in turn, can’t even get to 0.5 on my Eurofighter. The plane is already completely elite, but I don’t feel any advantage on my side. It’s just a one-sided game where only the enemy team wins. No matter which guide you watch, YouTubers are destroying 4, 5, or 6 planes at a time, as if we’re playing different games where they have paid actors. I can’t enjoy the top-tier aircraft because it’s unplayable.
How fast and how high and how far away you are from your target at the time of the launch of your missile?
The maximum range from which I launch missiles is 40 km, and only head-on.
And how high and how fast are you?
At an altitude of 8–9 km, and at a speed of about 1,600 km/h – that’s how I usually play
Well issue is 40km is extreme range and at that distance missile will have little to no energy and once the ARH radar goes pitbull, unless the target is asleep, they wont have any problem dodging your missile.
Try to fire at 30km at max, ideally at 20km while keeping the alt and speed. You need to have as small time to target as possible if you want to succeed with AMRAAMs since they arent hitting manuevering targets anytime soon.
Im in middle of spading 15C MSIP (only recently finished all FM mods) and im currently at 2.74 KD. I hope by the time I finish the A2G ordnance i get it to 3 KD.
Thanks for the advice, I’ll try it, but I mostly feel like I’m just too stupid to play from this point on
Nah, its just knowing when to launch.
You know where to find NEZ on your radar?
Yes, I know how it works. I’m familiar with most of the mechanics involved with radar
Well then just look at the NEZ and compare the targets relative position to it.
If they go cold, NEZ is usually cut in half so if you want to be sure your missile connectes, target should be in lower half (closer to you) of your NEZ.
