the F-14A early that is being used is the 1977 model apparently meaning this one did not have 9L’s/were not around yet

R-27T and R-27Et have IRCCM
they did a BR change on the DEV server and that was moving the F-5TH from 13.3 to 13.0 i doubt that they will move the F-16OCU up in br
Im aware but im gonna save my judgment on this one till update goes live. T-58 was already bumped by 0.3 BR between dev servers, so id argue it is possible it might end up being 13.0.
Im fully for planes being balanced on their realistic optimal loadouts, but this would kill the tomcat even harder.
-Acceleration? Mig-29
-Top speed? Mig-29
-HMD? Mig-29
-TWS? Mig-29
-IRST? Mig-29
-Radar missiles? Mig-29 (F-16A has none lol. This is the most important difference)
-Flare count? The same thing with single drop after the upcoming update, and the belgian F-16 can only carry the extra countermeasure pods without missiles in the pylon
-Energy retention? F-16
Tell us again how the belgian F-16A is better in most regards.

It could and it would then be closer to the F-16A, but still won’t be enough to keep it at 12.7

I forgot it had HMD.
I was jsut thinking 6xR-73 with radar ACM modes for off boresight… With HMD yeah, that is 100% 13.0 worthy.

If the F-16A OCU with 4x Magic II has HMD Its probably stronger than the Belgium F-16A in a dogfight
You misread. I said the most important/impactful difference between the belgian F-16A and the Mig-29G or the hypothetical Mig-29A with R-73 and R-27R is that the F-16A doesn’t have any radar missiles.
The gripen A is almost in the same situation because it has trash radar missiles, but at least it has TWS, HMD, BOL pods, and a better FM than the F-16A
Damn ok that might be a bit excessive but I’m all for it I need to buff my kd in the iraf to my f-14a in sim so that will definitely help, also am I one of the few people who actually like and use the sedjeel like I love that goofy missile and someone commented on me getting kills with it in sim basically asking why I use it
