I was casually completing the “Pages of History” event that requires 20 000 Mission Points , while playing at least one of the vehicles in the selection.
I just noticed that Air to Air kills are rewarded with ~110 Mission Points each – which is abysmal !!!
I somehow feel that Mission Points have been nerfed - has anyone spotted anything odd ?
EDIT: Thank you to Players who mentioned the Severe Damage feature, it helps a bit:
If I include only Kills, Hits, Crits, Severe Damage, I get to 1359 mission points - which is 227 Mission Points per Air to Air Kill.
Not as dramatically low as I thought ! (though still very little for making relevant progress in Events and Pages of history)

> spawn AA
> AA ineffective against CAS, die to CAS anyway
> “just spawn a plane hur dur”
> spawn a plane and kill CAS
> awful rewards, like 1/3 of a tank kill

plane rewards (shooting one down, no matter if you’re in a Tank, heli or plane) have always been neglectably small
this is why we have this CAS problem, nobody concentrates on shooting down planes because the rewards aren’t worth it
if killing a plane got you as much SL/RP/Mission points as it influence the battle (2-3 times as much as killing an enemy tank) then everybody would focus on shooting the plane that just spawned
If im not mistaken. Also included in that score would also be the damage to the enemy, critical damage to teh enemy and severe damage to the enemy. minus I assume 1x hit to a ground vehicle?
The score doesnt just come from killing something, it comes from also damaging it. Which is why you have 1900 score from 6x kills. 1 cap and 1 assist.
Though shooting down aircraft in CAP and especially SPAA could do with being a little better rewarded
