i killed 8 people before heading back to base due to lack of gunners and in dire need of repair.
and yet because the enemy had 100 more tickets. i lost. i had to repair twice overall.
I was already good at gunners before the bomber buffs. but often died quickly because as you all know 1 fighter could just take off a wing or tail easily. so little tip.
----get into turn fights with fighters. they mentally think they can out turn you(they CAN) but thats the trap. as they are close and my top gunner can shoot them. they can’t shoot you though…
----by the time they start the turn fight. it’s too late as PBJ-1H also have 8 50-cals on the front. Also go watch old gunnery training vids. they helped me enough and sure as hell will help you.
— learn to turn your aircraft to evade hits. preferably getting hit as little as possible. this is part of the trap as the enemy usually will try to turn to shoot you again. also angle the aircraft based on your target. your wings should be below your gunner fire arc but not too low that you have to look up to shoot.
