You: Name 1 IFV/LT that can tank as much as the BMPT
Me: Ok, Namer 30
You: No you can destroy it’s ammo (which won’t kill the Namer 30), meanwhile the BMPT doesn’t lose it’s ammo when the belt gets hit according to me (which you have provided pretty much 0 proof for btw, if you want people to believe your claim that should be a good start).
shame that I do better in my mostly stock tech tree Chally 1 Mk.3 than you do in yours that should be spaded after 362 games. Ouch.
Ammo located in crewless turret will just burn while ammo which is used by crew as chair destroys vehicle if hit. Hence why rb 56 bill 2 is more efficient than spike in most cases, spikes often just cook turret belts while bill reaches hull belts and cooks whole tank.
Sure it most likely wouldnt die if you hit it with HE far from hull but you will lose all your ammo which is equal to death because you are essentially harmless to enemy team and useless. And while namer has to j out or drive without any ammo to point (which is certain death if its not capped or somewhere in middle of fight) bmpt will have another cannon to work with plus ammo box.
Gaijin just cant stand britain having something good. They HAVE TO give russia something better either by adding something 1 step ahead or adding something that should be 1 BR higher at the same BR.
If an Ajax with ATGMs gets added, it will be at a higher BR than the BMPT’s despite it having a slower fire rate, worse armour, and probably less ATGM’s.
Even then, Desert Warrior got TOW2A, but the way they fire is so awkward that it is difficult to aim them in close quarters, lol. Hopefully Ajax would not have the same firing motion if it does get them.
Yh ur right. I remember when they all first came out and it wasn’t clear which one was which. The IFV has a longer hull but it’s only a prototype I’m pretty sure.
Yeah its a prototype for the UK’s potential new IFV, intended to replace the Warrior after the Warrior CSP program failed
Just a prototype at the moment, but its been in the works for a while and It looks like it may be a functional vehicle. I believe the AJAX IFV turret is a development of an existing unmanned turret for the Warrior WCSP program.
They are supposedly making more prototypes in 2026
Because they took one figure for the day sights optical zoom and ran with it, the sight should at minimum be 1-6x as it has unity zoom (1x), but they won’t model that.
In reality the zoom is likely completely different, we know the thermal sight has at least 12x system zoom (digital and optical zoom combined) but they won’t accept that.
