1 Death Leavers - Post economy Experience

let me add a reason: dying to CAS after 1st spawn, getting droned, getting spawn camped by SU-25/PE-8/KA-52

CAS is the cause of so many deaths at or near spawn for me.

Well… i cant blame one death leavers even when i am having a good match.
Personally lately i don’t even join matches if i don’t like the setup and this happens a lot.

Anyway, ts answer is hiding on his question.

Cough cough 99% of one death leavers at BRs where the high tier tank premiums reside, 10.0-11.0.
Not convinced? Just observe that BR range next update when they make it even worse.

What strikes me again and again is that even in battles where the player is top tier and enjoys a full downtier, an ODL is quick to join in because he thought he was now the top dog in the ring and after 1 minute was taught otherwise.
And it quickly gets tricky for the team when 3-4 top tier players do this. I would bet a lot that these are also the players who are quick to put down an ODL when they have a full uptier.
In that sense, you can never please some of them. I understand the reasons for ODL, but what really goes against the grain for me are these 2min ODL players who have basically just behaved stupidly and cowardly fuck off due to a lack of self-reflection.
These stupid maps or when your own team has failed hard after 5 minutes are reasons that I can understand.

This is more down to the fact that many in the top tier are people who bought premiums or paid their way up but never bothered to learn how to play no matter how many battles they have.

The problem is the concept of the SP system is fundamentally flawed. One-life is a far better.

You know that if you have a proper line up you still can die in 2 MBTs and still have enouhg points to spawn in SPAA? And that works pretty much in any BR…so i think the SP system is just poor excuse

So what is forcing people to spawn in 2 MBTs and 1 SPAA exactly?

I dont know maybe becuase the more you will do the more rewards you get …and get this…this might be a suprise for you, but if you win the game, your rewards will be even bigger

I think the maps are the issue. You should not be able to snipe, or even touch the enemy spawn from your spawn at all and this makes people leave on first death quite often, especially in top tier. Specifically, top tier maps should be long range and all aircraft including helis should spawn way further away. If it takes them long to get to the battlefield just to get instantly shot down by anti air it’s a skill issue no excuse. Every competent cas player knows how to stay alive regardless of conditions. Now again circling back having better designed maps would solve this problem very easily but then again it comes to each individuals players mindset as I’m sure some people struggle just acknowledging they simply got beat by luck or skill at times but being sniped right out of spawn from an objective or from even the enemies spawn is pathetic and ridiculous and shouldn’t be possible.

And you only took 30.000 games to make sure. ;-)

Personally I couldn’t care less. If I am having a bad time I will probably leave regardless.

I don’t think the problem is so much with the game really. So many “reasons” for ODL have been addressed and it still happens.

Imho, the reason is with the ODL players. They are not able to accept a challenge. It is easier to quit and look for something better. While blaming the others™ of course.

I feel exactly the opposite is the case. In a battle, I have the chance to iron out my own mistakes and react to changing battle conditions by choosing a different tank, aircraft, etc. …
If I don’t react, the opponent gains a critical advantage.

Yeah…pretty much. Always love the game where me and like 4 other people from my team are left in the game agaisnt whole enemy team after 3min into the battle just becuase the rest ODL…Even then i try to play to the end.

Yeah…that guy has just some poor exuses. If he want to play a game with only one-life he can go and play WoT. Here you have a option to bring a line up with multiple tanks/vehicles and even planes…yes…at some point you need to spend GE, but even with SL you will end up with either 5 or 6 crew slots.

this …

three enemy players gone before it even started … any bets how this ended? I feel even more betrayed by a challenge …

Full uptiers happen very frequently. The same goes for teams having very different capability levels. There are also tasks that can require hours to complete.

You dont like it, but the game gives plenty of reasons to leave games early that are all routed in the design of certain elements.

Its easy to shame ppl into not accepting the challenge while disregarding the reasons. After all there is no challenge to accept. The game is about individual progress so shaming ppl for following their individual progress leads to nothing.

Uptiers are part of the game. But if that were the reason, people should not quit if top tier. They still do…

“My team loses? Oh wait, that is a design error. I quit. My team shouldn’t be losing.” Like that? Lets hide the ticker bar and the score table until after the game. Might actually work.

Shaming would lead to nothing, but we don’t post names here, do we? We examine the cause. And it still is the reason - they don’t accept the challenge, because they rather follow their individual progress. That sounds better…

Because fighting against +1 BR half of the matches is so much fun…

Having some sort of MMR system to even out teams by experience is completely unreasonable for you?

Name it what you will, i gave you a number of reasons. The fact you dont accept them changes nothing about them being invalid.
