this would be a great addition to the chinese ground forces and also looks amazing, whats the value for horizontal rotation of the turret? bcoz its position seems very interesting as it could allow for hit and run ambushes behind buildings, that if turret is able to rotate enough cuz i saw footage but only see them shooting forward

The turret isnt fixed to only face the front, as it can be seen shooting with the turret turned a by an amount. I guess it has a 360° horizontal area?

Aircraft and urban terrain will balance the ZBD04A
Probably CQC isn’t the strong side, as well as urabn terrain, but it might be very potent on maps like fields of Poland, which you get fairly often at top tier

This thing looks really cool, and it looks quite gnarly with the 8 missile containers on top. It would be quite powerful in WT, esp with the extending mast.
I guess the HJ-10s are just too big to fit into the ZBD to have a launcher setup like this that recesses into the vehicle? I guess this makes reloading easier too

Early HJ-10 's wings fold like the left(latest version in ZBD-05 hull changed to right one like Spike), makes its box large, not suitable to fit in the hull, and also, put them in hull requires big structure change which may influence the vehicle’s structure strength. Boxer’s hull don’t have this problem because it’s modular.

Hm, it also appears that the base HJ-10, which this one appears to be the 10A, uses TV for terminal stage. The HJ-10B on the VN-1 has IR
This would match up the claim of the HJ-10B having a “seeker upgrade” (which was not specified what exactly was upgraded), although I must admit that I’ve never seen a HJ-10C or D

the new fold wing HJ-10 should have a new name. it changed the way wings folded top make the box much smaller.
I think hull don’t influence missile/launcher, just depends on what kind is needed. many Chinese image missiles have switchable TV/IIR seeker
