will it be after adats or foldered with it?
I don’t think it will be a folder, as they are too different, so most likely after it.
I mean now with the addition of the Typhoon this vehicle will not be as competitive as it could’ve been. Honestly it’s time ground got a BR decompression to 13.0 because its only been recently where ground and air have become different BR’s.
meh, typhoon still isnt as good as having kh38s to just yeet off. Sure its fun knowing your kill required skill as you guide them in while dodging missiles but its a little bullshit when some su 34 spawns in after you and nicks your kill while landing already due to his missiles being faster and fnf. Would still love to see thi sin game as ive all but given up on spaa at top tier as now even the stormer cant do anything against the jets flying about.
Thanks, but this picture is in the gallery, and IDR is one of the sources I used.
Was watching Virus’ new video of the Panstir and realised that the the Rooikat SPAAM and Rhino SPAAM can also automatically guide their missiles without actively locking on and guiding the SACLOS missiles
What do you mean?
If you see several radar targets on the Panstir then you can lock onto one, fire a missile and switch to the next target and the radar guide to missile without you having to do anything besides lock, fire and switch targets, basically making your missile ARH or SARH without having to worry about the target getting a RWR ping while also automatically homing onto the target
Thats just how it works in game right now, due to how radars are made. IRL the 3 locks are hard locks, that would trigger RWR.
Really? I thought it was a TWS type of thing
First of all, getting hit by the Pantsir track radar beam will already be recognized as track, as that is what it does, it tracks, it is unique compared to its search radar. Second of all Pantsir track radar can detect 8 targets at once, but it can “precise track” 3. Those targets need to be updated more frequently, so they will get a even stronger Track return. And finally, the radar is sending commands to the missile, these will also be detected.
It is not the same case as in TWS in planes, where its the same radar. There TWS takes place from the software side, redirecting more of the radar power to get more detailed info on said target. This can also be detected by some of RWRs.
I think I mostly got confused by the fact that the Pantsir’s track radar is K band and most RWRs on aircraft can’t see K band
