Adding a Yugoslav Ground Tech Tree would be a significant move, both from a historical and political standpoint especially considering that Gaijin is a Russian company.
The former Yugoslav states, Bosnia, Croatia, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia each have complex histories, and their relationships with Russia vary widely.
Some players might welcome the addition purely as a historical expansion, appreciating the opportunity to see Yugoslav and post-Yugoslav vehicles in action.
Others, however, could interpret it as a political statement, particularly given ongoing regional tensions and differing perspectives on Russia’s influence.
From a gameplay perspective, it would likely function similarly to the Chinese tech tree (like you have previously discussed)
The challenge would be in defining its structure would it focus solely on vehicles from the Yugoslav era, or more likely extend into modern-day equipment.
If the latter, Gaijin would need to navigate national affiliations carefully, potentially raising concerns about how each nation is represented in-game.
Additionally, how Gaijin chooses to present the tech tree could affect player reception.
A neutral, historical approach might mitigate controversy, but even then, some factions within the community could push back based on their political views.
On the other hand, including present-day military equipment from these nations could lead to debates about favoritism, authenticity, and even geopolitical implications.
I’m fully on board with this proposal and would love to see it in the game, as I mentioned earlier.
My concern is that implementing it may prove quite challenging.

"I’d prefer that they avoid simple copy-paste designs and instead take the time to develop authentic, region-specific versions with meaningful visual distinctions and gameplay adjustments where necessary.
Instead of just swapping out a cannon barrel, commander’s cupola, or adding ERA, they should focus on deeper refinements that enhance variety and immersion."
