I could never find more images of the 53/59 variant, great work.
As far as I can tell those are the only photos that exist of it. Or at least the only ones that exist online. It was clearly a much rarer conversion than the 37mm and 23mm. Unless somebody in Cuba has more photos that’s probably all we’re going to ever get.
Interestingly, on the original forum suggestion for a Cuban ground tree, I found this vehicle. The source claims it is Cuban, and the file name also states it as using a Romanian Model 80 30mm, which appears to be correct. I just don’t recall Cuba using this weapon system; the only 30mms I believe they had were the Vz.53/59s.
On second look, I now realize the turret is that of the Czechslovakian STROP II SPAA vehicle, however the cannon still looks like the Model 80 the source mentioned, rather than the 2A38 the STROP uses.

I don’t feel like this is photoshop as the BTR-60 we see here has a large section cut out for the turret, which is also quite similar to the other Cuban BTR-based 30mm AA platform posted. If the gun really is the Model 80 however, it is possible this could be a Romanian vehicle based on one of their license-built BTRs.
looks cool ngl would like to see it

Oh hell nah…
Can you tell what the round turreted wheeled light tank just out of frame on thee right is on the strela 1 image?
I’m honestly not sure, now that you bring it up, I’m curious myself.
I saw it and immediately did a double take thinking it was the USH-204GK, but while the hull looks different, that turret is remarkably similar
It would appear to be a BRDM 2 of some variety
It looks smaller, perhaps it’s some reconnaissance vehicle.
Yea, the door looks strange and far to large for a light tank, i’m thinking its an APC of some kind
Ive done some digging, it would appear to be a Schützenpanzerwagen PSH from east germany, at a museum most likely filled with east german AFVs
Ah guess it is not the east german LT then, front is way to sloped
