Which one? MiG-29 thread he mentioned or “.50s deserve a buff”which I mentioned? I haven’t seen pooqich in .50s before
CAS is integral part of the game. If someone wants pure ground battles they always can look at other games, War Thunder is what it is. Gaijin sells premium jets and planes that only are playable for Ground Battles, people pay and feed devs. CAS adds extra motivation for someone to play War Thunder. There is no issue with having CAS, there is issue with one nation has better CAS while other bad one.
the 50cal guys thread not the person you’re referring to.
Skill issue.
First of all, where was written that Ground Battles only include ground vehicles to play? This mode was made for combined vehicles battles, including planes/jets and helicopters.
We have simulator mode where CAS available from beginning of battle, Realistic Battles award you by letting you take CAS for your productivity in the battle.
How actually you can promote removal of CAS if you have SPAAs missiles of which should lose it power when shoot up, but it doesn’t, it flies with full energy and shot down. SPAAs missile ignore IRCM on helicopters, SACLOS easily hit those who search targets in that terrible graphic on maps, you even see CAS perfectly, while CAS should spend time to find someone. Problem of USSR CAS, not others. + We have have light vehicles with ability to shot down any CAS.
Dovah4 and KillaKiwi currently arguing about dispersion rn
So what?
You lost by ticket bleed via capture points.
That’s your own fault for not bringing an equally in-depth line-up of MBT’s, you spawned 7 times and you’ve got more than enough MBT’s available to you:
- Vickers Mk.7
- Challenger Mk.3
- Challenger Mk.2
- TTD
- Chieftain 900
- Chieftain Mk.10
- FV4030/3
- Olifant Mk.2
And all of that is ignoring the fact that you can simply buy/receive back-ups on all of these.
Your post inspired me to play the Challenger Mk.2 (and also because I had to play a few matches in order to be able to post on the forums) and here’s how that went:
The only reason they weren’t all one-hit-kills is because I just woke up and played it at 7 in the morning with garbage aim on that T-64B.
Aside from the BMPT being OP (and even then, just aiming very low seems to one-shot it fairly reliably for me), there’s nothing the Russians have that should be problematic for you.
They do.
Advanced IRCCM, ARH and SACLOS missiles can easily ignore IRCM.
Only LDIRCM creates magical shield against IIR missiles.
2 BMPTs covering points and other tanks staying near each other makes impossible to break through. Please, stop blaming people, nobody at all would fight 2 enemy at once. Or if you stay behind wall and pray to sell your teammate to kill enemy, this ain’t winning either
Strela in 2023 couldn’t shot down Viper due to IRCM on it, after all IR missiles got buffed, Strela somehow started avoiding IRCM block on helicopter. Same as Type 98 IR missile. Tested from 4 perspectives in battle, 0 survivability
OP is complaining about Russians having too many T-72/64/80/90’s available in their line-ups, which somehow makes it impossible to win.
He also complains that Britain doesn’t have enough MBT’s available and that after a few deaths you’re only left with SPAA and light vehicles, this is simply nonsense as I demonstrated.
You’re moving the goalpost here.
Have you ever heard different firing modes?
Because both Strela and Type-81 has that ability and even then its not effective against helicopters equipped with IRCM until certain distances.
Not to mention that both platform has advanced IRCCM missiles.
Quite literally. See how theyr team has a player with FIVE points captured? LOL. TSes team has SEVEN on entire team. Soooooooooooo its only natural they won.
Post: Shall we have a look on a problem*
Average reply: How dare you be disrespectful to my beloved mother Russia!!! (Raging like if somebody just insulted their entire family bloodline)
it looks to me its a 10.3-10.7 battle, in which Britain has like, same amount of machines as USSR?
I mean US has less in the tech tree than both britain and USSR…
(forgot to 2x the 72B so keep in mind)
I do believe neither of USSR players did use all of those techs, they had several backups and played like 4 different machines at best :/
Do you understand why people complaint about it? Because frontal part much better protected. When you see tank from left/right side, there is no issue, even though WT moments happen. But as soon as they in front of you, having bushes, and driving/moving may ruin your kill. I had moments when shell didn’t kill squad or fuel box tanked, that’s quite often though. 1cm up - ricochet. Turret protection again, better than any other western tanks + instantly damaged horizontal drives and knocked crew affecting reload rate of Leos and Abrams. That’s what people hate about T-series tanks.
Nah you see since Leo/Abrams has much better mobility and reload you should just flank those T-Series and catch them off guard easil according to their claim, problem is most maps are so small that you will counter enemy tanks in flank routes most of the time.
Still Leo/Abrams are better tanks in my book, even with their unhistorical nerfs.
Yep, everyone hate this and everyone don’t wanna speak up about this. Once someone ever mention this…one specific group of players would bomb you with “skill issue” because they wanna keep their wheelchairs in this game forever.
Not to mention the amount of urban CQB maps, trying to peek, shoot and then get back into cover in Russian MBTs ain’t a winning prospect.
They like to use the “holding W” as an insult, but it’s often the only way to play, you need to charge out shoot and keep going forward to the next cover position, trying to reverse back into the previous one is a death sentence.
Open maps are both curse and blessing for Russian tanks due to their design.
