You can’t please everyone

I’m starting to understand Gaijin’s dilemma. We all play the same game, but want different things. Some want more realism. Others care more about balance and competition, with realism taking a back seat. You really can’t please everyone.

I think Gaijin should handle it this way:

  1. Keep vehicle performance as realistic as possible. Balance the game mainly through BRs, maps, and spawn rules.
  2. Give each mode a clear identity. Give players who enjoy direct combat and those who prefer ambushes and scouting their own options.
  3. Test new mechanics first.Keep them if they’re realistic and fun. Adjust them if they’re realistic but don’t play well.

Don’t try to please everyone, but give each option clear, consistent rules.

um yeah thats basically what they do

You can’t please everyone doesn’t mean you should please no one. End of debate.

Making stuff realistic and adjust BR, maps and mechanics has been an advice for a DECADE

Modes, also there for a DECADE. No they don’t have the ability. Source: NE

Mechanics’ been good enough compared to the 2 above

Yet these aren’t about pleasing everyone. It’s about simply doing whatever the conscious majority all agrees and have been supporting… for a DECADE

Gaijin must be heartbroken reading that.

That’s all well and good, but what defines realistic weaponry in a game?

“you can fool all the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time…” Gaijin seems to have the perfect ability to just piss off most of the people most of the time.

Most people are crazy and don’t know what they’re talking about

Yeah, seem to remember some Greek bloke wrote about that around 346 BC give or take.
Edit: sorry that was BC, not AD…
