YaK-9K: Remove it's APHE belt or move it up to 5.7 in GRB

It reminds me of when Triplex rockets were very accurate and you could reliably get 3-4 kills with Sea Fury. Except that ofc that was fixed quickly, didnt have 29 shots, and wasnt as manouverable

well you see that wasnt a russian weapon so clearly it was overperforming in a way that poisons the game

APHE fix would have made this much more tolerable of course.

Probably not considering its top down, the OPHE fix would mostly only fixed the SPAA spamcanon disease this game suffers from

Sea Fury is a horrible plane with huge turn radius. Yak-9K can just loop and dodge all day. Also majority of Yak-9K hitbox doesn’t fuse HE shells, they pass through doing 0 damage, as a result, it’s ridiculously durable.

He is being sarcastic

I just missed the “snt” part and read “it was a russian weapon” and understoodnthe comment as “if it’s russian, it poisons the game, if something else is OP - business as usual”. But I’m dead tired, so probably that’s why. Gonna take a walk.

Small interjection here: I have the means to get the APHE removed. A crooked Russian Bug Moderator is preventing me from doing so by saying my sources don’t count because he said so. (Yes I would love a Mod’s help if possible).

It is 100% fictional. It was never used on the Yak-9 platform and was, in fact, trialled on a single IL-2M with poor results.

Dude the bug moderators don’t listen to a lot of people. I tried getting the MZ Russian auto loader reload corrected from 6.5 secs → 6.0 secs.

They said it wasn’t a bug. Even posted the documents for it

Tiger 2 10.5 cm… panther II, maus, all technically fictional

Irony is VERY ironic here. People clearly dont know theres a better 9K in a folder and I LOVE that people are so oblivious that moving the 9k up EVEN MORE doesn’t solve a single thing. Dont believe me? Ok Go check out the Yak-9UT in the tech tree. It has 40% more HP and a better air frame. Yet people think the 9K is too overpowered when they don’t know a better one exists in the tree.

is that the autoloader in the T-80s? cause thats being changed to 6 sec reload now

Not fictional, it was actually built.

FINALLY AFTER MY YEARS OF POSTING THE documents!

Where’d you see that?

Was not actually built. They had a hull, and just finished the turret. They didn’t even mount the gun yet, the Soviets finished it.

No. The soviets just mated the 2 dufferent prototypes together. One of those never got a turret and the other was pretty complete but the germans destroyed it so the soviets just took the turret and put it on the other one.

Funny thing is, somehow all the USA/German/Japanese 37mm/50mm/75mm seem to do way less damage and bounce 100x more often than these mystical USSR 37mm/45mm rounds.

Dont get me wrong, I love using the Yak-9T/K in ground battles. But its pretty glaringly obvious that the NS-37 and NS-45 outperform every other nations AP-T/APHE rounds to an unusual degree.

Im not even saying to get rid of the rounds, but at the very least allow the other nations big rounds to dish out similar amounts of damage.

Its pretty silly a 45mm APHE shell fired out of a wooden prop plane can somehow be more effective than:

HS 129 B-3 - 75mm APHE 740m/s

ME 410 A-1/U4 - 50mm APHE 835m/s

ME 262 A-1/U4 - 50mm APHE 835m/s

PBJ-1H - 75mm AP-T(APHE) 618m/s

Ki-102 - 57mm Practice 500m/s

Ki-108 - 37mm Practice 710m/s

Ki-109 - 75mm APHE 719m/s

P.108A Series 2 - 102mm AP-T(APHE) 750m/s

Now im not saying these should be some sort of wonder weapon, but why are they actually useless when compared to the NS-45 APHE??
