YaK-9K: Remove it's APHE belt or move it up to 5.7 in GRB

Add Russia getting a battleship that beats the Iowa, Yamato, and Bismarck. And it aint even close. One that never existed. And yeah.

Using this UFO en 6.7 right now and basically outperform most fo the 6.7 CAS planes… really Gaijin ?

There is no debate that this 45mm APHE round, specifically, is over performing… probably in multiple ways, but definitely in its post-pen damage.

Planes get BRs according to air RB performance. Thats one of the biggers air assets issue. Thich means Yak-9K will continue to have this low BR because its not used much in air RB or its performance is low in air RB.

So we have CAS which is undertiered and cheap because its not effective in air RB but highly effective in RB GF.
And we have overtiered and expensive fighters which are effective in air RB but not used much much in RB GF because CAS is cheaper and more effective.

Gaijin is giving to the planes separate BRs for air/ground mode since one year ago, so there is not any single reason for keep this piece of propaganda with wings in 4.7.
The only reason for stay so massive overpowered and undertiered is because is russian.

It says “for some ground attack aircraft”. So if plane is marked as fighter but can carry huge ordnance it doesn’t go under that category.

Yak-9K is lower in air RB. Its 4.0 there and 4.7 in RB GF.

All planes are included.

It says “apart from few exceptions” so its still not all. The issue is we cannot tell which ones are the exceptions.

I am not in disagreement with you about Yak-9K but Gaijin uses automated algorithm to change BR. So we can only hope that Yak-9K performance will triger that algorithm soon enough.

It does have a distinct GRB and ARB BR.

3.7 in AAB, 4.0 in ARB, 4.3 in ASB

For ground,

– AAB, 4.7 GRB, 4.7 GSB

F4U-4 could prolly do with getting bumped tho.

It being at 4.3 is awfully criminal. It should share its ASB BR of 5.3 for GRB imo with its insane payload and dogfight capability as well.

Well its Gaijin. They are the only ones which may know the reasons.

Personally I blame that algorithm which is responsible for BR changes. It looks painfuly slow to trigger changes even when some are rather obvious.

Funny how this is claimed but completely ignorance of a time where germany with Tiger/Panther at 5.3. Everything is Russian this Russian that. But never on gaijin for giving more shit about low tier. You people are literally the reason why stuff take so long to be solved

Both arent even close of levels of overperforming of that thing.

What???

Back when both of them were 5.3 ? When everything else at it BR are either mid or just not on par to the Panther D/Tiger 1H ? Brub really expect a chode T34 or an M4 to fight against way undertiered vehicle. Yeah sure , average. More reason to why stuff are not gonna get fixed because Russian biased.

As a sov main I can agree it is too op (tho I do not use cas). The amount of frustration when playing other nations againsts the sovs and getting my tank deleted out of nowhere is insurmountable.

Move to 5.7 or reduce flight characteristics, keep aphe and INCREASE its DISPERSION.

It needs to be uptiered, it’s UFO FM corrected, lose the APHE as there’s no documentation that it ever actually flew with it loaded AND increase shot dispersion for the belts it does actually use.

When the Tiger 1H was 5.3 a lot of stuff stayed in low BRs aswell. IS-1 and Jumbo 75 for example. And they are far from be undertiered. And Panther D is 5.3 a is just a good tank,i never experimented any kind pf problem when i face it.
So yeah, they are not comparable. Please stop with these silly comparisions.

Yeah…It has no prob carrying 2 100lbs bombs. I killed bf109 Ks in that thing WITH the BOMBS still attached.
