YaK-9K: Remove it's APHE belt or move it up to 5.7 in GRB

You know what, you’re right. Move all the A6M Zeros to 3.0.

  1. This is not a zero topic
  2. Everybody knows that zeros are overtiered AF

No, you’re clearly just a hater who wants unique capabilities to be nerfed.

You even failed in your attempt to post an insult

Or you somehow think, that wanting to lower zero BR is “nerf” to them, lmao

And increasing the BR for the most powerful CAS plane at 4.3 is unbalanced how?

Wait have we met before?

What are you on? Everything all right down there?

Maybe?

Did you miss the previous ~175 messages detailing exactly how the 9K is incredibly broken and easy to use?

Then why do you spam with A6M zero?

Quit drinking

Are you gonna address my point or just gonna keep avoiding it?

I am not gonna adress your point - go to the/create a topic for A6M zero and stop spamming here

Read.

What is your problem? What do you want?

I struggle with pragmatic communication, have audio processing issues and general deficits associated with neurodivergence and I am able to understand what point Percussion is making.

You claimed that Yak-9K is fine at 4.3 in GRB because “it has unique capabilities and we shouldn’t nerf it just because of that.”

Here, for ease of context:

Therefore it follows that if we take the zeros - awful top speed, bad dive decceleration, bad high-speed acceleration (but good low speed acceleration) and compare them to peer aircraft then we can justify moving them down to 3.0 where they’d fit right in.

Nevermind that they have a field of excellence - low-speed turnfighting, stall-fighting.

That’s just something that is different and has unique capabilities.

Also.

I genuinely don’t understand this point.

Does a yak-9K have weaknesses? Sure.
So does the zero and the spitfire.
Bf109s can counter yak-9k the same way they counter zeros and spits.
If the bf109 does not use the same approach as it does with zeros and spits, I feel the yak-3k is competetive using its roll rate with german and american props.

What A2A capability do you consider “as other fighter of that BR”?

Cannon that doesn’t require god eye to aim at plane? I mean I can nest an NS-37 or 37mm M1 on a plane bbut not everyone got that talent and my talent to put big caliber gun dies at jet BR.

High skillfloor does not make a vehicle bad. It’s also quite agile (roll rate), so getting that gun on target does not rely on making high-aspect snapshots.

all im saying is.

not everyone can make god instrument work. i’m shit with XP-50

From my own experience although i haven’t flown it that much since i prefer UT version of Yak-9, the K variant has pretty poor acceleration and weak engine. On top of that armament is very lacking for air to air combat.

Ofc it doesn’t matter as much if you know how to aim the 45, but you should be expected to throw away a few rounds (i’d say at least 5 and probably even more than half of it if you don’t aim as well) of your very limited 45mm ammo supply in each a2a engagement since a single 12,7 can’t do much.

And don’t get me wrong i think Yak-9K deserves to go up in GRB a bit, but definitely not to 6.0 as author of the post has suggested
