Playing planes in a ground mode is pansy behaviour to begin with. Begging for nerfs will only worsen the game. Just hush it and get better at the game. It is not that hard to take out a Yak. Machine guns exist, boom and zoom exists, use your main cannon, since the Yak needs to get close to shoot.
That’s why you can spawn a SPAA or a plane to counterattack CAS. Just because you have a skill issue doesn’t mean the plane needs to be nerfed or moved up in BR.

If a document of an experimental round is evidence enough, where’s the grenade launcher for most of WW2 shermans, the early APFSDS for the Centurion mk.10 or the DU hull improvement for the Abrams series? Or is it just a convenient balance measure to use experimental features whenever Russia is the benefited?

If it exists, and it performs as the devs believe it does, then the plane should be moved to 6.0. It effectively is a multirole without the need of using any ordnance other than its cannon and the couple of 20mm.

It has better flight performance even when the AD-4 is wings clear and i’d believe your argument if it had like 10 rounds, but it has 29, its more than capable to do runs on a reasonable amount of vehicles before running out of ammo, it is 6.0 worthy.

Better. I know that the AD-4 has 4 20mm and can carry (I think) HVAR, Tiny Tim, etc. But the YaK-9 can kill tanks without needing bombs and can also dogfight well without abandoning bombs like the AD-4/2 must if it wants a fight.
NOTICE: I will grind the YaK-9K and see for myself on how well it does against tanks once they get the APHE. I cannot record (IDK how, skill issue on my part) nor take screenshots (I think my Prt. Sc key is dead.) But I will post my experience here in a few days as real proof.
This is what the AD-2 can carry
So the most kills possible with the loadout will be 14 kills IF the HVAR can one-tap tanks and kill them with God accuracy. But we all know that at least 2-3 HVARs are needed to kill heavies and 1-2 for lights and mediums. The YaK-9K has 29 (I think) APHE rounds that can one-tap heavies while also having really good accuracy. That is why.
And for the AD-4,
Maybe can get 5 kills most for a average player without going back to airfield. But YaK-9Ks can rack up 6-10 kills at most before rearming. YaK-9K is an orbital strike plane. And if these AD’s meet YaK-9Ks, then (A) they ditch their load and try to dogfight and barely be able to kill it and (B) the YaK-9K will have a better flight performance, easily be able to kill the ADs unless the AD pilot is blessed by the snail itself. And after the dogfight, the AD (if they live) will be forced to go back to rearm while the YaK-9K can just go back to strafing Tigers and still be able to get at least 3 kills.
Moreover,the AD-2 flies like a drunk and overweight bus
