I would be 100% if the yak-9k occupied a similar space to the Hs-129. The duck struggles from a terrible airframe and awful speed and energy retention, and is relatively easy to damage with roof mounted machine guns, but a pilot who is a good shot can take advantage of the powerful cannon. The Yak-9K should have a similar limitation in practice such as the recoil you mentioned. The plane is smaller and flys well compared to the duck, but the recoil on the cannon means hitting accurate shots in succession is difficult, again rewarding a skilled pilot. Right now, the yak-9k is a point and click adventure and doesnt have any disadvantages like all of the other medium to large caliber gun weilding planes.

5.7 Japan today, Yak-9K still dominates in ground RB at this BR. Useless teammates in fighters didn’t help but multiple Yak-9Ks with 5+ kills in a run.
Edit: Even at this posts original BR suggestion, it still dominates and is regularly used by players to stomp teams.

Just paint it red and put a big star on it. IMO if the YaK-9K behaved how it does in WT, then the war would’ve ended in 1942. And the Russians would’ve won the Korean War, and beat the Afghanistan MBT’s in the ass using the YaK-9K which, by the way, is also coated with super Stalinium that prevents any radar from detecting and lock AAM to it.

Yak-9K is the Russian copy version of the German Ju-87 G version with better speed and more ammo then the Ju-87 G.
Same could be said about Germany. This game caters to German tanks so much, you’d think they won the war.
In what aspect? Last time i checked, they are quite historically accurate in terms of implementation.

KV-1s is also running fine even though in reality it didn’t. KV-2 also had lots of issues due to its weight, no issues in WT. T-34 has immaginary RoF which it never had. And so on.
Every nation in WT has “faulty” vehicles.

Oh wow. Same i dont see KV-1 and KV-2, or T-34 or Cromwell, or Crusader, or M3 Medium, or Churchill with reliability problems. Which all had major problems untill the very later variants.

If they are so accurate, why did Germany lose the war? Clearly German equipment was not as good as Wehraboos think it was.
