YaK-9K: Remove it's APHE belt or move it up to 5.7 in GRB

to be killed by anyone not braindead flying Spit 14/18/LF9?
it got 1 Berezin UB and 1 NS-45 dude. that ain’t gonna kill anything. different story if it got 2 ho-103

It’s a CAS platform that has the unique capability of retaining A2A power without having to jettison its CAS load. In ARB and ASB it can stay at 4.3, but in GRB its ability to change between competent A2A and A2G without either suffering should be revised.

Best option is removing the APHE from it.

Second best is upping its BR so that it’s like the duck or TIS-MA: Incredibly potent ground-attacker that cannot also be used to contest the skies at the same time. At 4.3, proper use of its roll rate lets it compete against a lot of planes.

Best option is to leave it alone. Stop trying to remove everything from this game

Once again you want cas being revised without playing it yourself as such. Please stop doing this.

I’ve proven to you that it is quite competent against Bf109Gs, against Ki-61 (Tea Rex’s video with 9M, which is close enough in performance), and even capable of surviving in a furball (Defyn and Wingalingdragon).

It is a direct contradiction of your earlier claims.

And let the YaK ruin all matches between 4.0-5.0 GRB? Nice Idea for you since I bet you’re another wallet warrior playing top-tier w/ the clickbait.

And the chances of finding something that flies that not CAS and also not braindead is as rare as seeing two nukes and a Panther II and the Flakpanzer 341 in a same match altogehter.

The Spitfire LF9 cannot see the YaK-9s in a match since the LF9 is 5.3 GRB and the YaK-9K (highest BR of all YaK-9s) is 4.0 GRB. Unless they are purposely brought up like a lot, they won’t be able to face LF-9s and are not supposed to.

Maybe it ruins it for you, but there are a lot worse things than a flying cannon. How about we move the Junkers up a bunch of BRs too, since they are flying cannons. We could also move the Me Cannon up too. Oh, and any regular plane that can pen a light tank? Straight to 7.7 to you.

It’s a plane, CAS ruins the game anyways, stop crying about a plane that literally has to shoot you instead of just dropping 1,000kg on you.

Those planes cannot reverse a plane sitting on their tail barring the guy behind them flying straight and overshooting after coming in with extreme closure. Now tail gunner might alleviate that need, but in my experience stuka tailgunners aren’t very threatening. The duck itself is a massive fat target, so easy to shoot before the tailgunners can engage you anyway.

Yak-9s can dogfight with Ki-61s and gustavs and go back to CASing with a few rounds emptier cannons, but no other loss of potential.

If Yak-9 only had HVAP, it’d not be that big of an issue as HVAP requires a precise shot at ammo rack to achieve the same thing as APHE anywhere into the turret does.

LOL, we have a much bigger problem than that in the 4.0–5.0 BR range.

Lol. I guess yeah, but it gets killed by .50cal and has virtually no armor and a hunge ammo rack.

Dude, are you blind or unliterate? I said the YaK-9K is OP BECUASE OF THE APHE AND A UFO FLIGHT MODEL. The Ju 87 G-1/2 have crap maneuverability and the cannons only have HVAP. The Me 410 has 50mm gun, but also no APHE and dies to fighters easily since it’s a big target and also can’t dogfight. YaK-9K can dogfight, kill tanks, and also don’t need bombs and rockets to ditch in case of an enemy fighter.

That thing can one tap anything in that BR range.

If you’re getting killed by a .50 cal, you’re using it wrong.

I mean IT CAN GET KILLED BY .50 cal. I checked in analysis. And yea one tap everything. And so can the M4A3 105.

Holy shit, never mind

Bro like don’t use people’s stats to judge them. Like I know a lot about some tanks (Panthers, Pz. IV, Ostswinds, etc), but that doesn’t mean you must be good at that tank. Like that’s for people that can’t talk otherwise.

It literally shows how someone is doing with said vehicle.
