Does anybody know when or if the account linking feature will come back? Would be nice if i could use everything as normal without to log in everytime i want to play or go to xbox to buy packs.

You can Play with a Xbox Account on pc, i heard Today in another Thread you can activate the packs if you Download the Game through the Xbox App. Buying is still available on microsoft Website

Go to your pc and download war thunder.
Use the email and pass for here for that.
Also you can use war thunder on gforce now and do the same.
I remade it this morning actually. I ain’t doing a video but maybe I’ll add a couple of screenshots later when I’m feeling less lazy but I think I covered the important parts for now

This should have everything you need to know in it. You can either go to the xbox website or the app to get packs without having to start up your Xbox every time

Also you don’t gotta download the game through the Xbox app in order to access your packs. You only need to buy them through the Xbox store. You can play the game on whatever launcher you want

its also because the discounts and sales are different on pc right?
Pretty much but it’s the store itself… One being the console store, and the other being the Gaijin store.
They will be different offerings and vehicles, but mainly just the money trail goes through an extra step and you stay on there until you can get the console transfers opened again.
That is Not 100% right you Need to start war Thunder on your Xbox to activate the packs. Hopefully with the Xbox App it Works now.

Hmm I see. Have you tested if it works yet? I would guess that it does since you have the packs tab still on the Xbox app version of WT while it’s gone from the WT launcher version. I’ll add it to the guide
