WW2 sights and other realistic customization

We have modern tank sights in WT, and some other bits and bobs of customization in game as is.
But I have to ask, where is the content for WW2 vehicles? They’ve been around longer than any, and they’re due for model upgrades, as well as realistic tanks sights, for those whom wish to use them. I want the immersion increased, I want to feel the gritty hard fought battles that used to be WT. before all the anime pillows, and the random clutter we get.

Where are other cosmetics other than fuel cans? I want to make my tank look a little more war torn, or higher veterancy!

Would you like more sights added to the game? which do you wish to see get added quickest?

I may regret my choices later, after seeing potentially questionable implementation, but the basic logic is:

For the implementation of the armor values, I chose other because I would be cautious that these don’t become a form of P2W. It could easily break the balance of certain vehicles, especially at lower tiers where armor values that may be negligible at late WWII BR and on could drastically change how a vehicle performs. Think about vehicles such as the American M2 (the tank with a .50 cal as main armament) which could suffer even more once certain vehicles become .50 ca proof because they bought track armor.

TLDR: if this is ever implemented it needs to have game balance taken into mind. It shouldn’t end up even more P2W than bushes

While I would love to have accurate WWII sights, I’d HATE to have this for my Panthers:

It’s apparently for an 88mm gun, but Panthers have 75mm. Well, except for the Panther II… :)

You can do that with custom sights already.

Yes. I was meaning, mainly not being able to cover up like machine gun ports and things like that, like the “only weakness” of a tank.

But rather could armor up sides so on and so forth.

But in game tanks already get this P2W feature.

Tiger II Sla, and a few others are a great example of this.

Yes to all of the above, except the tracks, roadwheels, and whatnot adding protection. This could add advantages to paying that isn’t needed

When can we customize our tanks like this instead of putting them behind a paywall? Gajin could let us get such Camo parts and netz and bushs(trees leaf, ) metel pieces, bags, infantry stuff…, in events or battlepass, Or jsut creaste 5 dollar Camo for a specific tank instead of making a whole tank with camo?

What I said previously in another reply to someone else, is that it could be very limited in placement, how many you can play, xyz.

There are good ways to balance it, while adding more realism to our tanks

I’d like to pull the game away from the high intensity esports nonsense that it is nowadays back to it battle hardened, gritty, roots

I think that adding new custoisation is needed but (for me) adding log and tracks will ruin a bit, because someone will place more tracks for make the impression that the “fake” track are real (gor real I mean the one you unlock with modifics)

I don’t think a BP item is a bad idea, it makes it more worth it.

But i feel like everyone should get a “free” set of 2 tracks when the reach level 50. Obviously the track would fit the tank it’s being added to.

Also lol, im not saying add the concrete T-34, but it’s hilarious
