WW1 Vehicles?

I feel like since Gaijin is adding some very famous WW1 vehicles into the game (late-war vehicles due to the appearance of the A7V), they could also add some more as well! Some examples could be a Renault FT17 for France and the United States (inlcusion! Yay!), a K-Wagen event or premium vehicle for Germany, more prototypes as TT vehicles for the Triple Entente (that have cannons) or TT tanks for Germany as well. It could be useful in the aspect that it would give people more complete lineups instead of France only having the Chamond (if we wanna include interwar vehicles like the 2C and 2C bis, then that’s a whole other topic). Overall, I feel like the entirety of WW1 vehicles made should be added as a new start to tech trees maybe or just as premiums (since I know there weren’t many). I would also rant on about WW1 planes as well like the other Fokker aircraft like the tri-wing, but as I stated, it’s a whole other discussion itself. Interwar vehicles are also another discussion for themselves because there are some vehicles that would be interesting to see like the Leichttraktor or Grosstraktor (those were codenames, but those can be changed). It would also be interesting to see some other funky vehicles as well such as found on the tanks encyclopedia website such as the Flakpanzer A7V or introducing the first single-crew tank, the Fahrpanzer (it’s a mobile arty piece pretty much). You guys can go to tanks encyclopedia and the World War One section to look at all the vehicles yourselves as well!

I’d really like to see more WW1/interwar vehicles and it’s kinda a shame that it’s just an april fools update for now, but I also do see how it could be a kinda unfriendly game experience for new players and how it would be really hard to balance. Still maybe they could be repeating event vehicles like the maus or something?

WWI vehicles could be the BR 0 (or even lower? -x?), we could still start at reserve/1.0, but we can research backward, not just toward biggers BR numbers.

If not just another TT for that.

I really have to stop procrastinating and update that. There’s a bunch of images and a few stats that I accidentally copied from other vehicles, because instead of using a template, which I really should have in retrospect, I would just copy and paste the previous entry and begin editing that one, and then forgetting to change some of the copy-pasted stats and/or the copy-pasted image lmao.

I think adding them to 1.0 was a mistake and just laziness on Gaijin’s part. They should have started off at 0.0 and cap out at 0.7.

Most of these work at 1.0 to 1.7 with little issue if they get an okay AP round.

I think it would be better to keep the reserve vehicles as they are and make the grind go backwards for WW1 and interwar vehicles instead. Most new players will probably want to rush toward higher tiers rather than spend time playing slow early tanks like the Mark V. A reverse-grind for WW1 vehicles could let enthusiasts enjoy them without forcing newcomers to start with them.

If they add any ww1 stuff they should all be reserve or 1.0 - 1.7 unless information states they are doing really well for some reason. They got people power keeping some of them alive for longer then you would expect. I like the WW1 tanks because they add an ecosystem to low tier of you get the first wave of light tanks and then the big WW1 ones come in. For balancing though Gaijin should make them a bit faster though. Aircraft though is a different story but there are a few late WW1 or early interwar stuff that would work. UK loved bolting big bombs on there WW1 airplanes for experiments and zeppelin can make some good AI targets for low tier teaching players how to engage with defensive gunners.

With the infantry mode maybe more WW1 stuff would have a place just as I see the snail adding in some armored cars in more the upcoming mode.
