WT Live really needs better moderation and filtering. There are user-uploaded skins and sights showing sexualized drawings of minors, which are illegal under U.S. and EU law and absolutely not acceptable in a 12+ game. It’s extremely concerning that this is being allowed to stay on Gaijin’s own platform.
There is moderation, it’s based on player reports and moderated afterwards. If you see content that break the rules then please report it through the reporting system on the website.
If you have questions about how the moderation works you can contact the Live.Warthunder Moderators in a private message. You can find all the teams and the areas they handle listed here: (Who is who and Reporting Procedure). If you don’t get an answer within a few days you can add more moderators from the list to the original message instead of sending a new message (that way you preserve the date of the message and it doesn’t look like a new request), adding one of the moderators to the message every 2-3 days or so until you get an answer.
Please do not to add the seniors until you have tried all other regular moderators, the Seniors likely won’t answer unless they are added and pinged by the regular moderators but if you’ve added all the regular moderators with no answer then you can add the seniors.
The current reporting system clearly isn’t working. Sexualized drawings of minors and other NSFW content remain visible on WT Live, and it appears nothing is done even after multiple reports from players. Relying solely on player reports is not enough — moderation must be proactive, effective, and timely, especially given the illegal nature of this content.
Posts on wt live aren’t pre moderated. With the amount of posts in there, what you are asking for is almost impossible. Only way to get attention is to report posts
I understand that pre-moderation for all posts may not be practical due to volume. However, there are alternatives that could significantly reduce NSFW like Automated content filters – Using AI/image-recognition to flag sexualized or NSFW content before it goes public or keyword/image pattern monitoring to detect and temporarily hide posts with common inappropriate words or repeated patterns in images.
That is true and it is just an idea, tho they could human moderate i think if they have human moderaters on the War Thunder news pre moderating comments they could do the same on WT Live
