Not sure if anyone else feels the same way, but why, as War Thunder players, do we have to download something that NONE of us got into the game for? Nobody started playing War Thunder for the infantry. That is why Enlisted exists. Why are we going to be forced to download and hold more storage for this game when it could just be an Enlisted update?

cause enlisted is developed by a different company published by Gajin besides the inf in war thunder is better then enlisted

Infantry mode in War Thunder should be an optional download, just like Ultra HQ textures and so on.

I joined this game when there were planes only, you ruin my experience, why should I download extra assets?
Jokes aside, single game with everything is a way better strategy than multiple games like WoT did with naval and planes. I like what Gaijin did, united combine is better and has more potential than separate games with separate dev teams. And separate currency…

I don’t have any storage issue but it would make sense to let players select the parts of the game they want downloaded. I have a few friends who only play planes (like me) and had a hard time getting enough room for the whole game on their pc. This problem would’ve been greatly diminished if they only needed to download air content

I doubt that you can download only air content as even in arb there are tanks and ships as targets. And they have normal tank/ship models and damage models too.
same with tanks and ships, there are helis and planes in grb and planes in naval.
same will happen with inf.
